Animal Planet Shark Submarine Playset

The diver broke within minutes and not a way to put him back together

Uhmmmm this isn't a water toy. Its a submarine shark and not a water toy??!!! Animal Planet made this???? They dont know kids then. There was no way I could convince my kid that he couldn't take it into the tub. It's not a water toy. Even the Q and A on Targets site says yes it's a bathtub and "water resistant" hahahahhahaaa. Wha???!!!! Do not buy this, the sounds and light will stop, obviously, and the sharks retain water because they it isnt a water toy. Do better Animal Planet. Target, why do you even stock this??? I bought it yesterday and will be returning. My kid loves it though... even though it doesnt make the sounds. And the divers legs have already fallen off after one use, well actually that makes sense. Sharks.

My kid LOVES sharks. This seems cool, but we couldn’t determine if it could actually go in the water. Apparently the dove cage should go in the water because the lights and sounds stopped working after two baths. The hinge pops off quite a bit. The scuba diver isn’t very durable either. If I could return it, I would.

This is a Christmas present for my 9 year old. While most of the stuff he is choosing for Christmas are video games, what I love about this is that it’s a toy that he can use to truly play with and added to his list, and for that I have it at 4 stars.

Trash! Cage broke instantly

Bought this toy and within seconds of my son playing with it the cage and diver broke. He was not being rough at all.

She used it in the tub, and also took it with us on vacation and played with it in the pool. She said this is one of the best toys she has gotten. The packaging was good, and the product is really well made.

I would give it 3 stars, my son would give it 5. I don't like the little pieces that you break off and it seemed overall cheap, but my little dude loves the shark pieces, so we'll settle at 4 stars.

He really likes that the shark submarine lights up and makes noise too. He was kind of disappointed that he couldn’t take the submarine in the water so that is the only downside to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun shark toy. Not too loud for us parents. Sharks are very cool and larger shark if you pull on its fin the mouth opens and closes. There are alot of small pieces included so I would stick to the over 3 year Olds. Hours of fun.

It’s the cutest thing and can be played with underwater, except for the submarine toy, to my knowledge . When he received this toy set he was ecstatic, which I was surprised bc he’s not that fascinated with sharks, but he’s obsessed! 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first submarine that I got for my kids and they really enjoy playing with this. it came with different types of sharks and my son just loved it. It also has a cage and a pmscuba diver included in the set and they couldn’t get enough of it in the bath tub.

The various figures and sharks of different sizes are very entertaining, not to mention the submarine diver. My son is occupied for hours with this set and I would highly recommend. Only issue is that the battery powered noises, while cute and fun, means that this toy can't go in the tub!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to pinpoint age appropriateness for this. The sharks and submarine are good to go. Good size, nothing really to worry about with younger kids. All of the diver accessories are swallowing hazards, but that’s ok we just let the kids play with the bigger components. Good fun. Realistic sharks. Good for just something to play pretend with. Found out the hard way it’s not made for water so I figured wrong these were good bath toys. No more lights/sounds from the sub once submerged. No big deal. They still can have fun with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old daughter loves this playset. It's a staple for her when she takes a bath. There's a lot of variety and the pieces are pretty accurate for plastic toys. We will certainly be looking for more toys from Animal Planet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this Shark Submarine play set out my Grandson squealed with delight. He wanted to get in the bathtub and play with the submarine and sharks. Play set has many pieces. Lights and sounds and shark that opens and shuts mouth.

They spend so much time playing together with it. The toy is so well made with heavy duty plastic materials that will hold up really well for a long time. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are shark obsessed! This set is really cool and teaches them how scientists try to blend into the ocean to study sharks and not disturb their environment. The sharks mouth opening and closing is a really great effect.

My son loves to put the action figures inside the shark and fly it around like he is underwater! Get imagination he has. I like the quality and uniqueness of the toy! Looks exactly like the submarine on Shark Week.
