Lies!! Not vegan at all unless you have tons of substitutes.
Have to add EGG and MILK to a vegan recipe!! The whole reason I bought this was because I have egg allergies and can't have lactose. I know there are substitutes to both of those, but if I'm having to add a bunch of ingredients, what's the point of a pancake mix?! I bought this for an easy breakfast for a family trip, but now that won't work as I can't easily pack eggs and milk, and can't eat them anyway. Waste of $11! Why would it say VEGAN if it calls for other ingredients.

There's better options
Super thin and flat, even after adding a bit of baking powder. There wasn’t much flavor. I appreciate the natural colors with the confetti, but it didn’t take confetti color long before it started running after adding water. Birch benders buttermilk is a much better option.

Don't waste your money!
I am so shocked to see these have any good reviews. These are awful! They taste like cardboard and the texture is dry and almost gritty. If you like the most dry pancakes of your life that will require more syrup and butter than you own, sure try these! I noticed the package said "new recipe" so I don't know if these reviews are for the old recipe, but you would think the new recipe would be better than the old!? Nope. It's awful.

OK what can be said about a pancake mix that hasnt been said before. This is the best blah blah blah... I have been on a quest to find a pancake mix that could replicate our cafe in small town MN pancakes which by coincidenc have the best pancake that were made in America. So I tried the old cook book from your moms mom that I measured and sifted the dry ingredients and added the wet ingredients and only to find out that they were some of the best pancake that I have made. But by the time I was done with the science experiment in the kitchen and had more of a clean up that only deflated my morning breakfast event. So I'm at the grocery store and found these Annie's pancake mix it was one that had never been tried before The mix was so easy to make, and the pancake is THE GOLD STANDARD. Now it is the only pancake mix worthy of breakfast that everybody will love. You could stumble and fall over the umteen different choices of same as it ever was pancake mixes but to put your journey to rest buy Annies Pancake mix and you'll be the new master at making the best pancakes you have ever tasted.

I'm vegan, and these were probably the best pancakes I ever made! I used 1/3 cup apple sauce instead of eggs, non-dairy milk, and the pancake mix of course. Optional: I also added choco chips and a tiny bit of cocoa powder in the mixture but you don't have too, they taste great with out it!

These are delicious. You don't even need to add any extra sugar or vanilla extract for them to taste sweet. I don't even feel the need to put syrup on, they taste good enough plain. I used a batter dispenser to make them and the consistency doesn't end up clogging it. I was surprised to see how little sugar there is in a serving.
