Be super careful
I would recommend this but use caution if you want it to last, the concept is great. The material needs to be improved on, a bit more durable. This is not a good product for heavier longer braids. Only because the material that it's made of, my shower cap tore around the velcro. and with heavier braids it might put strain on the plastic. You definitely have to be super careful with the velcro, undoing the back of the shower cap. It did keep my hair dry, it is very water resistant.

velcro can cause damage be careful
I am giving this product two stars because though it works well as advertise and did hold up as a shower cap, the Velcro pieces are not safe to be that close to your hair especially having textured hair. The front Velcro flap got stuck to my widows peak and ultimately caused some damage to my scalp and hair. Please be careful when securing this product to your head, though this is a manual fault I do believe that Velcro is not the best option for a hair product. These images are the aftermath of removing the velcro from this product from my scalp.

great idea, but lacking in durability.
The shower cap was a good size and I like that it has Velcro that you can use to hold the bottom portion on the top of your head so it’s not in the way. However, the cap itself is not durable (or at least the one I purchased). After about 1 wk of use. I plan to return it.

Best way to protect long braids during showers
I recently had my hair braided to near waist length. It was way too much work trying to pull it up and find something to put on it during showers. A bag only covered a little. I got this shower cap and am in heaven!! I highly recommend it for anyone with long hair and need total protection to prevent it from getting wet.

Chemical can cause cancer
Buyer beware! There’s a warning on the package that says this product contains chemicals known to cause cancer! I don’t know why Target conveniently left that info off the pictures of the product or even on the product detail section. Will not recommend due to this. The product itself though is of great quality and it’s very long but it has a Velcro you can use to make it shorter and a drawstring to shrink it. Great product except for the cancer-causing chemical it contains.
