Best lightweight AB moisturizer for the humid, hot & sticky days to come!

I struggle with finding the right lotion for my skin. Most are too heavy, others too watery. This is perfect. I love how it goes into my skin, leaving it soft and with a glow. I don’t feel oily after an hour, which is amazing. Love it!

I’ve tried countless luxury moisturizers, but The Light Cream by Augustinus Bader is in a league of its own. It delivers deep hydration without feeling heavy or greasy, making it perfect for my combination skin. The lightweight, silky texture absorbs instantly, leaving my skin refreshed, balanced, and subtly radiant.

My skin is dry but the Light Cream works very well in humid and hot climate, especially under sun protection that otherwise would be too heavy if combined with my usual moisturizer.

This product is truly recommended, I've been to many facialists and was provided with many creams, toners, and cleansers. I've yet to come across something so beautiful! and helpful!!!

I gave up for getting a really working care for my oily skin, and wasn't expecting that this one would work, but decided to try. In a week of using it my face finally got rid of that constant oil that was for the last 10 years making me feel like my skin didn't ever breathe. This is a very good skin care! I love all AB products!

Unfortunately, it did nothing to me. I have Rosacea and at the same time, a very oily and sensitive skin, and it made it worse; more red and oiler.

I have oily combination skin and I have tried the rich cream which is amazing but this the light cream really works on my skin. I absolutely love it!!

It’s a good light cream, like serum. Still hydrates the skin but not leaving it with a greasy texture.

Amazing. Price but it’s a great product. My face looks so good and my skin silky. Perfect.

As this face cream comes from a prestigious brand, I have high expectations for what it can deliver to my skincare routine. This Light Cream version promotes a mattifying, moisturized, radiant complexion that aids in minimizing oily skin. As its high price indicates, this cream is to be far superior than similar prestige brand products. This cream felt light, fresh and instantly absorbed when applied. However, within minutes this cream made my skin dry and seeking extra hydration. A disappointment, to say the least. I expected much better from this cream, and therefore can’t recommend given the price point.

I have dry acne prone skin and this has not triggered any breakouts. It also works very well under makeup. Looking forward to continued use to benifit from the skin improving features of pores and file lines reduction. This cream is pricey but in my opinion very worth it, really hydrates the skin from the inside not just on top, my skin looks and feels healthier in 10 days of daily use, and it's vegan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never tried this brand before so I was excited to sample The Light Cream. I was concerned because it is labeled as a mattifying cream. My skin is dry so I don’t like a matte look. The finish isn’t dewy, but it looks like clean hydrated skin, very natural. I apply this after my serum. My skin drinks this right in and it doesn’t feel like it is sitting on the top of my skin. It feels like nothing at all which is great when it is so hot out. My skin felt nourished all day. The consistency is almost serum like and one or two pumps is all you need. The container is odd, it has a rounded test tube shape bottom. You have to store it upside down or lay it down on the counter. Not a big deal but a weird design for a high end product. I would definitely recommend this product.

Upon opening box, this product projects a high end box, packaging and is oh so pleasing to my visual self! I have been using product for about 2 weeks now. Before photos have been taken and at the end of 6 weeks, I will show the world before and after photos and you can judge for yourself! The cream is super light and per instructions I have been using it nightly using upward motions with my fingers. I am a total beauty junkie people and I live for products such as this! I have noticed a SLIGHT difference in my crows feet, so far, so good! I will write another review at the end of 6 weeks. Thank you for reading! Overall I do believe this is worth the money! I am in my 40's and with the terrible recession going on now all over, it's hard to justify spending a lot of money of myself, but stay tuned for my next review! 😉 My complexion seems smoother and a bit firmer! The cream itself was of a gel like consistency, but to be honest it had an almost automotive smell to it...it reminded me of going with my dad to Auto Zone when he needed to get parts. The smell does not linger however, which is good. Once the cream is on, you need to make sure you let it sink into your skin for a good 5 minutes before putting other products on top. If you don't, it may peel up. Yet, there is something beautiful about my makeup when I have this cream on that I can not explain. It looks flawless and lasts all day.

This moisturizer is wonderful. When it promises to control and balance oily skin, it really does. Is awesome. I live in Florida, the weather tries to bring out shine and sweat all the time and this gel/cream is unique. I had never tried it before and I will definitely stick with it.

The most amazing light weight moisturiser I have ever tried. I’m big into skin care and this is a game changer for me. I Love the dewy finish my skin has. I saw results from the first application. I love that I can use it underneath my makeup like a primer and it gives me a beautiful glow! It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for and this is definitely worth the price for gorgeous looking skin. Once you try this, it will be your go too everyday! I will definitely buy this again and again!

My face is generally an oil slick by mid-morning, no matter what I do, but this product has given me hope! I apply it right before my primer, which leaves my face feels moisturized, much less oily, and my makeup looking great. I was also able to push my mid-morning makeup touch up back by several hours. Definitely worth the money, and will be adding this to my routine going forward.
