Jojoba was removed from the ingredient list, but there should be no difference in performance as the ingredient was not at an active level. In April 2024, Canada introduced a new regulation mandating the disclosure of fragrance allergens on the artwork of on-pack labels for cosmetic products. This update applies to all products available in Canada. While the ingredient lists may appear longer, please note that the formulas themselves have not changed. For a better experience, after washing, we recommend you resist the temptation to give your hair a good old rub with a towel – the friction can cause damage and even microtears to your hair. To fix this, consider using a microfiber towel or tee-shirt to dry your hair. Also, it's a chance that the new formulation isn't hydrating to your hair type. Consider using a hair treatment or mask 2-3 times a week to help with any excessive dryness and damage. We'd like to assist you further. It might be helpful to know that with the new formula, to be in line with our responsible beauty goals, we've focused on including only those ingredients that have proven benefits for hair. Hair might feel dry if it's not conditioned adequately, so we recommend leaving the conditioner on for up to five minutes before rinsing. Also, be sure to apply a bit more product to the ends of your hair since they don’t get as much natural oil from the scalp. You may also want to incorporate a conditioning treatment two to three times a week or try a leave-in conditioner for that extra boost of moisture. Plus, it’s common for hair to get tangled, especially when trying to comb it while wet. Avoid piling your hair on top of your head, as that can lead to more tangling. To detangle, apply the conditioner directly to the dry and tangled areas and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, use a fine-toothed comb, starting at the tips and gently working your way up to the roots.
