The consistency is very thin, almost like water, which makes it feel less hydrating than I expected. For a product marketed as “hydrating,” I was hoping for something that would leave the hair feeling softer and more nourished, but it didn’t add much moisture. The packaging looks really nice. The ingredients seem good, but still bothered my sensitive kiddo. As for detangling, it does an okay job — it works, but I’ve used other brands that make brushing through knots much easier and smoother. The scent is pleasant and light, which I liked, and it didn’t leave any sticky or greasy residue, which is a plus. Overall, it’s decent if you’re looking for a light detangler, but if your hair or your kid’s hair needs real hydration or stronger detangling power, there are better options out there.
