I have used the same remington straightener from my local drugstore for the last 15 years, and it finally got tossed after rattling and peeling a lot. I did a lot of research to determine what model/brand to invest in, keeping in mind my thick, fine hair. I read great things about Babyliss, so I ordered this one. The package arrived not sealed, but the iron itself looked to be fairly unused, so I tried it out. It works great for me, I get lots of compliments on my length and am able to get all my hair straightened in about 5-10 mins (I dont section meticulously)

This is my second Babyliss straightener. My first one just stopped working. I can’t remember when I got it but was at least 8 years ago. It works great!! I love it. It heats up lightning fast and you can pick the heat setting and it has a memory button.

Heats up very quickly and works well. I have thick wavy hair and it straightens out first pass through.

If you have 4c hair please do not waste your money or time buying this product. I have 4c hair I go to the beauty shop often to get my hair silk pressed. So I know what a professional flat iron is supposed to feel like and baby this is not it. First off it does not get hot enough I had the flat iron on the highest setting 450 and applied the flat iron to my roots I braced myself at first because I thought the heat from the iron was going to burn my scalp but it was the opposite I felt nothing. Then after I used it on my Baby Hairs and the roots which is the thickest part of your hair shaft, it did not give me that bone straight look that I usually get at the beauty shop. And lastly after I was finished my silk pressed it just reminded me of a hair style that I could have achieved with a 20 dollar flat iron. Babybliss should not be selling this product so high I only bought it so I can skip the salon appt. I will be returning tomorrow for a full refund.
