As a kid I longed for this meal it was delicious glorious it tasted like heaven for the price of the meal it was perfection then long came the horrid apple sauce it was like the friend who betrayed u now I know how ceaser must have felt to be a kid and going to the store picking up my favorite meal and seeing this horrid new thing on the box I was willing to steal get it to cook my meal to mix in the gravy with the potatoes and add corn sure it may have been a couple bites but boy was that the best part when I came home that day from school I remember looking at it seeing the apple sauce had spilled into my potatoes common problem especially with the potatoes spilling in but who wants apple sauce in ther potatoes or corn it was horrible it was stupid but little old me who longed for his glorious creation was willing to try it maybe the corn and gravy would fix it little did I know it would be the worst thing to come into my mouth at first it was glorious like beautiful rainbows and flowers all over my tongue then it turned into a horrible battle when the apple sauce had touched my tongue what was once a beautiful land on my taste buds was ravenged and left to rot in the most disgusting tasting apple sauce little me was sadden especially to see out of all the meals my store served that was the only one that had the horrible taste long apple sauce I still long for that feeling the taste and yern for the day they take it out the Salisbury steak is 8 out of 10 the gravy 9.5 out of 10 corn 10 out of 10 potatoes 10 out of 10 but when mixed in together its like it was Gordon Ramsey who created it the apple sauce single handedly ruined my favorite meal it has since been years since I have had my meal I miss you old friend hopefully one day you will return

I’ve always loved the Salisbury Steak till i the past few years. The meat has been pale, the potatoes almost none existent but still even now and then I’ll try again. Today’s the last try, I wish I could post a picture of this slop. The potatoes are just a runny bunch of potato flakes. Yes i followed the instructions, cooked stirred the soupy mess, cooked some more still a soupy mess.

THIS IS A POOR QUALITY, AND IT REALLY TASTES HORRIBLE. THE WHOLE MEAL WAS HEARTBREAKING, AND IT ALMOST MADE ME CRYWHEN I THREW OUT ALL OF THE REMAINING ONES IN THE FREEZER, I AM VERY UPSET AT THIS AND I FEEL UPSET. THIS MEAL MADE ME FEEL SADDENED AND SORROWFUL, AND YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!!!! :((((

These meals are good for a quick little meal, but they definitely aren't my favorite. For the price they are a cheap easy snack or meal. You really need to watch it though because if you over cook them, it will become too chewy.

Dude they advertise mash potatoes but don’t actually give you any . It’s just a mess under the film . I will now be getting the green brand from DG instead of these .

If I wanted soup I would have bought something else ! Terrible, the Potatoes weren`t Potatoes they were water mixed in flavored water for gravy .Worst Frozen meal EVER

Salisbury steak has always been my favorite TV dinner. PLEASE, stop putting the mashed potatoes in with the steak! I would gladly sacrifice doing away with the apples to get my steak and potatoes back to something worth eating instead of the slop it turns to now mixed together. Thanks

This used to be a huge pregnancy craving so I figured I would give it a try postpartum. It's not disgusting but it definitely lacks quality. For the price you get a decent serving. The packaging is my biggest issue. Every time I microwave it regardless of how well the cooking instructions are stated and followed my food ends up mixed. Far from the healthiest choice but extremely convenient.

I should’ve checked the reviews before grabbing Banquet’s so-called "meal"—what a colossal blunder! I’m baffled that any company, let alone Banquet, would slap their name on this abomination and call it food. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but I figured it’d be vaguely edible—oh, how wrong I was! I’d have been better off scooping up a handful of backyard mud; at least that might’ve had some flavor! If you’re even thinking about buying this slop, DON’T. No price is low enough for this disappointment—you’ll regret every bite!

Prepared the meal according to the instructions, and the mashed potatoes did not cook correctly. They still look like instant flakes in gravy and juices. Pretty disappointing.

I love mashed potatoes and Salisbury steak those crappy apples, bro just put the brownie back in the bowl. I want dessert, but I don’t want the brownies. I tried to give it to my dog and she didn’t even like it. You guys put the brownie back in as a dessert.

These are a great option as a dish. Good value for the price. The packaging is clear and transparent and easy to ready. Quick and easy and tasty. Cooking instructions are clear and easy to read.

I ate this when the potatoes used to be separated from the meat. Now to save money they add the potatoes with the meat in the same package. Totally disgusting. When you get done heating it up, you might as well use a straw because potatoes are like soup.

This is absolutely the worst frozen meal I've ever had, and I'm 54! I had one of these about a month ago, where the potatoes were in a separate section of the tray and it wasn't too bad for this price point. This had the potatoes in with the steak and gravy and they had the consistency of watery grits both times i tried them. Very unpleasant!

Not enough mashed potatoes or corn. The apple dessert only had five tiny pieces of apple!

Leave out the desert and keep the mashed potatoes by themselves so the gravy doesn't make them soupy !!!!

These are disgusting. The texture is like of a wet soggy towel drenched with extremely cheap beef flavored liquid. It seems to be completely devoid of the pictured grill marks. This product is also completely devoid of flavors found in home-made Salisbury steak. I bought 4 and ate 2/5 of one and tossed out the rest. I had to wash my mouth out with water and strong mouthwash to remove the awful taste and i had to also throw away my microwave and fork which touched this disgusting pile of garbage. Do not recommend.

Haven't bought a banquet meal in years...now I see why....not a real good product...YUK
