A: For the Beautyrest Silver PureAir Two‑Stage Crib and Toddler Mattress, you don’t need an extra waterproof protector, because the mattress itself already features a breathable, waterproof cover and core, with a PFAS-free moisture‑wicking membrane that helps keep your child both clean and cool. The fully removable cover is also machine-washable, making cleanup easier in case of spills or accidents. The Beautyrest PureAir mattress was intentionally built to eliminate the need for an additional waterproof protector but if it gives you extra peace of mind, a thin fitted protector made for crib size can still be used safely beneath your sheet. Just ensure it’s breathable and properly fitted.

Nice two sided mattress. Arrived in a clear garment like zippered bag which was open in one side and extremely filthy and zipper had come open. Or was it opened? I took the waterproof cover off and washed per instructions. Examined the mattress well. It seems fine. If this ships from Sealy they really need to find a more sanitary way of shipping infant. Sealy please put these in a mattress shipping box.

I absolutely like this two-stage crib/toddler mattress, the green side is firm and great for my 8 month baby girl and the white side is soft and more comfortable for my toddler girl. Very usable for my girls! Cover is breathable, waterproof and non- stainable. Easy to take mattress cover off and wash it. I recomend air dry it.

Typically I only leave a review when I have something positive to say, but Target put us in a tough situation. The product came in a plastic bag and was dirty and damaged. We found out baby would have to be delivered early due a health issue. We weren't able to print a shipping label for a few days until my husband was back at work. Despite being sent a damaged item, Target would not issue a replacement until we were able to ship the other back. Under the circumstances, we hoped they fix their mistake and not have us bring our baby home without a mattress. That didn't happen, and instead agents continued to cut chats short. I'm just really disappointed.

I am very satisfied with this mattress. I already had several children's mattresses, but I liked this one more. It has two sides. the material is pleasant to the touch. it is harder than soft. It is very good for a small child, more safe. You can easily remove the pillowcase from the mattress and wash it. thank you

Love this mattress! I love that fact that it is breathable so I no longer have to worry when I put my baby down for bed- if there are any accidents in the bed, the mattress is stain resistant so I am able to wash it easily! My baby absolutley loves this mattress and it is by far the best investment we have made! The best thing is you cannot beat the price.
