Q: Is this mattress supposed to have little pieces of frabric that stick up on the infant side as handles? I can’t tell if it’s supposed to be there or if it is defect because it is kind of frayed.

It’s too hard. My baby slept in it first 5 months and then just refused to sleep in it. I flipped it to the toddler side and still super hard. I put him on our bed and he instantly falls asleep. I tried laying on it and hurts my side. I get safe sleep but you can knock someone out with this thing

Arrived dirty on the corner. Either black mold or dirt. Didn’t risk letting my child sleep on it. Upset because we purchased this same one for my toddler a few years ago (the model has changed since then). Wish it didn’t arrive dirty but seems like there are other reviews saying the same thing.

Had this for my baby since 2019 he’s now transitioned and baby sis is using it. This has kept up well. I love the material it doesn’t feel cheap and doesn’t make him sweat at night. Very comfortable. Wish there were more like this

My child hasn’t slept since moving her to her crib. We finally switched from this crib mattress to her sisters old one and she’s sleeping like a dream. It’s rock hard and awful

Went to buy this mattress tonight. The one on the floor had a tear in the plastic covering it causing the mattress to be really dirty. So, they found another one in the back for me. Brought home and took the wrapping off and discovered on the toddler side, there was a bad flaw in the fabric. Feels almost like there is a metal piece trying to poke thru from inside. Returning it tomorrow. After seeing the review of the baby all scratched up by a wire poking thru makes me worried to try another one. Except for this issue, this mattress was the perfect firm mattress I was looking for. Looks of decent quality.
Surely better out there for $30 more

I liked this mattress initially and my baby sleeps just fine throughout the night still since we purchased 4 months ago. I have started to notice an ever so slightest dip in the center after continuous use but my main thing is.. it’s had a bulge on one corner since we purchased it (we bought in store so no shipping can be to blame, did not see until next day) which makes that one corner more rounded off causing a bit of a gap between mattress and crib. Nbd at first I thought but since my mattress protector shrunk and I had been still putting it on afterwards, it had caused the mattress to now bulge out more and now in 2 other spots and has also rounded another corner off. That being said, it doesn’t fit as snug as it should. idk what could be the cause of that type deformation but it sucks cuz now I’m on the hunt for a new mattress that will retain its shape.

Fits perfectly in Delta baby crib. Corners are square unlike other rounded off mattresses so there is no gaps between crib. Yes it's firm, like it is supposed to be for safe sleep.

this mattress is as hard as a rock! my daughter has been sleeping in her bassinet for 2 months and refuses to sleep in her crib and now I know why. im currently laying on it myself and it's worse than sleeping on the floor. do not reccomend.

My son has been using this mattress for 11 months now. He’s 15 months old and was in a bassinet for the first four. When I first bought this mattress, it was rock hard. I knew it would be safe but was worried about it being too hard (as other reviews have complained about). However, it has softened over time. Not to the point of sagging or being too soft, but not the concrete floor it felt like when I first bought it. My son sleeps through the night almost every night and has since he started using his crib, so he obviously finds it comfy enough. He’s a 100% stomach sleeper and has been since he could roll himself over. Not sure if that makes a difference for him or not. I also like how the corners aren’t round. It fits my standard crib perfectly. It is a little thinner than my daughter’s mattress was so the sheets don’t fit as perfectly tight. I don’t worry about that now but the crib sheets (especially cloud island) might fit a little loose for your preference. I haven’t had any issues with the sheets bunching up and becoming dangerous though. Overall, I’ve been happy with this mattress. It has lasted so far with sometimes up to 15-17 hours of sleep a day, no sagging, no rips, no weird smells, etc. I do use a mattress protector on this. It’s not made of vinyl like my daughter’s was so I was worried it would soak up any diaper leaks. I would recommend this for safe sleep. I’ve felt other mattresses that were way too soft or would probably be too soft after just a little bit of use.

This mattress is showing extreme wear after only 3 months of use. Indents where the babies lay (twins), metal springs (not mentioned in product description) and able to be felt through the mattress, and doesn’t seem safe for a baby to sleep on! (Not flat).

We have had this mattress for about a year and a half now with no complaints - it's held up great and our daughter sleeps well. It's important to know that AAP recommends that infants sleep on a “firm” mattress, with a fitted sheet, and no soft objects in the sleeping area. So anyone wanting a "soft, cushy" mattress, this is for your baby, not you. Adult preferences on a mattress do not equate to an infant's needs of a mattress. Also, I saw a review on here about the wire sticking through - that is so awful! However, the mattress pictured does not look like this mattress pattern so I think the reviewer is mistaken on mattress brand. I sure hope so anyway!
