So Yummy & Versatile!
All my baking for the holidays includes these mixes. Can do anything with them such as coloring, decorations and shapes. I add a touch of flour for cut-outs and they're pretty nice too. I like to frost them or ice them for holidays. Can make small or large cookies, your choice. They are very tasty.

I have always used your sugar cookie mix that comes in a bag. I always make drop cookies and have always cooked them for 7-9 minutes as the directions use to advise to do. The latest bag called for baking 17-19 minutes. The cookies didn’t taste like they used to. Were much thicker/chewier. Did you change your recipe? If so I don’t like them nearly as well. I don’t do cut out cookies so this is not the issue…always drop cookies. Would love a response as to whether or not the mix has changed somehow. Thank you.

This was the biggest “trust the process” recipe. At first I was so nervous because it is very dry at first but I hand mixed it with gloves and kept at it and it came together after a few minutes. Overall I really liked it!! If it looks super dry just keep mixing in the butter it has to soften all the way through. And the egg as well.

Let me start by saying I am huge fan of BC products and cook books. This one missed the mark. The dough was dry, and tasteless. I tried adding more moisture to the dough but the end result was the same a dry crumbly cookie. I am a home baker of wedding cakes and specialty themed baked goods. I rely on box mixes for large projects. Not this one.

The cookies taste good but the instructions have got to be wrong. The mix is crumbly if you only add what they say to add. I went ahead and added in milk gradually and flour as needed to get my desired result. It made a lot of cookies and they came out yummy

It says will make 12 2” cookies….i got 12 cookies but they are very thin and fall apart when picked up. I put the dough in round drops on the sheet I did not flaten. Baked for 12 minutes at 375 But they were mushy in the middle so puts back in for 2 minutes and still mushy so went in for 2 more minutes and they came out just barely brown on edges of some. I let them cooled and after 10 minutes they felt cool so using a metal spatula I lifted one up and it fell apart. Tried another one and it broke in half. The taste is okay. I sprinkled them with a little sugar and cinnamon. I don’t believe I’ll try the Sugar Cookie mix again. Here is the code on the package 16000 45706. The expiration date is 21FEB2025. Disappointed as I wanted to give to a family by me that have four girls for Halloween along with some brownies and candy. Praying the Betty Crocker Salted Caramel brownies mix comes out good. I live on SS and I don’t have one penny to my name at this time so I can’t go out and buy some or another mix. So that’s a lose of half stick of butter and mix.

I baked these for my grandson and they turned out amazing! I melted my butter completely and floured my pan. But other than that they were simple and easy. I can’t wait to find the rest of the cookies mixes.

Betty Crocker, you have it going on with this Sugar Cookie mix. Better yet, all of the cookies in these bags are delicious. I bring them to every outing I go to and I come home empty-handed. The people just rave about how scrumptious they are. I always add two tablespoons of flour along with one egg and one stick of butter. After mixing them a bit, I put the stainless steel bowl in the oven for a few minutes to make sure the butter is melted and remix them. They turn out perfect. A Cookies. Great Job Betty Crocker!
