$20 french press for premium price. Understand you’re paying for know brand with designed image. If you seek eye candy for the kitchen, it’s a nice choice. If you seek only function, shop for the $20 version.

Paying for name, not quality

This performs like a $20 no-name French press. The lid is also mostly plastic which feels cheap and considering daily exposure to hot liquids, careless of micro plastics added to each cup of coffee. I have to use a pour over system so I can filter out coffee grounds- not even sludge- it's so poorly made I literally have coffee grounds if I don't filter. Not at all the quality I expected in this price range. I'm returning to my cheap metal/glass press.
