Save Your Money, Buy a Different Brand
I’m reviewing this everywhere to save people money. I have been using flex 5 for YEARS because the blades are amazing. BIC changed something about the handle design and materials maybe a year ago and now I’ve had three handles break in a matter of 6 months. So wasteful. Why sell refill packs if your handle can’t make it 2 months? I’m done buying from brands who raise their prices and worsen the quality to make even more off of customers. Get Gillette or something, I don’t like the blades AS much but I’ve never had one break on me because it’s not 100% cheap plastic.

Pointless Ball Bearing Waste
In addition to adding millions of pounds of pointless plastic to the environment, this razor decided to bump it up a bit and add another pointless metal ball. I've been shaving for 30 years, and never needed a stupid ball to help me do it. I didn't even notice it until after I bought it at how pointless the thing was. It made me feel a bit silly after I took it out of the package and saw what it was actually did which is nothing. Somebody needs to tell these people to use a bit less smoke and mirrors (plastic and ball bearings) and focus a little bit more on the shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So.... I went into this review quite open-minded. I have sensitive skin and most razors rip my face to pieces. I have found one that I do like that gives me a close shave and I was hoping this would be similar because the product is similar. Sadly, I was unimpressed with the Flex5 Hybrid. I went through the normal routine for shaving and with each stroke I could feel the hair being pulled from my face. The process was not smooth and I ended up finishing the shave with my previous razor. My experience was not great and I feel I would not be able to endorse this razor in the future.

Gets The Job Done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the BIC Flex5 Hybrid razor for the past few weeks now, and at best, I can say that it gets the job done reliably. I get a fairly close shave each time I use it and it glides rather smoothly, even if I only use water and no shaving cream. To be fair, however, I don't grow a thick beard or mustache, so I can't speak to its performance in that regard. All in all, it's not the most high-quality, closest-shave razor that I've used, but it's certainly not bad. And it's still miles above the quality of disposable razors. For its price, which I researched at a few online retailers, I would say it's definitely worth it. Like I said, it gets the job done at an affordable price. I don't think other consumers would be disappointed with this razor for their daily and quick shaving needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shave twice a week and I was pleased at the precision of the Bic Flex5 Hybrid razor blades. I have sensitive skin and I was able to get a close shave with minimal force using the 5 blades. While the blades play an important role in a razor, so does the handle and grip. I like the wider handle and extra grip in the middle of the base, which made it easier to control the razor while shaving. And it comes with extra blades! I would recommend it to my friends looking for a close shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Flex5 Hybrid provides a very close shave. It is comfortable both in the hand and on the face. It was very easy to rinse blades of stubble. The 5-blade design decreases shaving time with the need for fewer passes. The only issue I had was with the curves below my nose. It was tricky to get such a wide blade into curvy areas. Over all, I think the BIC Flex5 Hybrid is a great value for the price. I would recommend it and will probably buy it again.

Good blades, mediocre handle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using another 5 blade cartridge before I tried the Bic Flex 5 Hybrid. The blades gave me the same close shave that I had come to expect and I was very pleased with the result. The problem that I had came down to the handle. It is very light and shaped weird. It felt like I was shaving with a disposable razor. I like the feeling of something with some weight to it and more ergonomic. Overall the blades did the job but I didn't like the feeling of the handle in my hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I thought the razor was good. The first impression was nice, I loved the color and the orange really matched well with the silver. It kinda reminded me of some cool razor that you would have gotten in your kit when joining the Rebel Alliance for the first time. The blades overall were impressive, and gave a very nice and close shave. The handle itself is where I found my disappointment. I thought that the handle was a little flimsy and felt uncomfortable in my hand by the time that my shave was done. I also didn't like that you had to squeeze parts of it in order to insert a new razor head. I really like the kind of razors that you can just insert and be on your way. After using it for a few weeks, I noticed no razor burn or redness which happens with cheaper blades over time. Overall, I would recommend this product to a friend, or pick up refills at the store for myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Smooth gliding shave, close shave with 5 blades, comes with 4 razor heads. Lightweight, nice handle and feel. Blades of double lubricating strips providing a smooth shave. Cons: Package indicates to throw away handle after use, refillable blades do not exist, they only come with the full purchase of the handle and blades. Blade is a straight blade so it does not follow the contour of your face. This is a well made manual hand razor with blades. Its great concept BIC is introducing to its product line with attachable blades, the downside however is one cannot just purchase the blades by themselves. Price point is good, and the blade itself compares to others on the market. Functionally, I enjoyed the shave, I wonder however how many times the razor can be used.

One (razor head) and done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the razor once. And I will not use it again. First impression of the razor was that the handle is way too large and clumsy. I like to see as much of my face as possible when shaving. Having a bulky razor handle/head takes away from my eyesight. Do I NEED to see, no. But it certainly helps to see what I'm doing when placing a sharp instrument against my face. My second impression of the razor was, Ouch!" The razor feels like it is scraping and pulling much more than shaving. I do have sensitive skin. But the feeling I got from this razor was brutal; and I'm sure even those with the toughest of skin will find the puling and rough scraping less than desirable. ...unless you are into that sort of thing...
