Love love love this vacuum. Light weight, picks up everything very well. The way me and my dogs hair gets everywhere and it picks up like nothing. The light at the bottom is super helpful seeing where all the dirt/hair is so everything gets picked up! Highly recommend.

I would rate the suction power as average. It takes about 3 passes to get visible pieces of dirt, which is reasonable, but average in my mind. One thing that drives me mental is that it snaps into the upright lock extremely easily and I find that I frequently have to step on the front and pull the handle back to unlock it while vacuuming. If this is a feature that bugs you, too, you might want to look at a different model. I do love Bissel's dedication to helping pets and am hoping, based on the good brand name, that this vacuum lasts a long time.

My old vacuum was a Bissel and it was time for a new one. I bought a Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Lift-Off and it is way better! I have 2 pets. A long haired cat and a white haired dog that sheds constantly. My favorite feature with this vacuum is the brush roll on or off switch that gives you so more control - plus the carpet type control also. I love all the lights! Very helpful! It was amazing the difference in picking up the pet hair. Plus I love how quiet the vacuum is when not using the brush roller. It is super convenient to use the Lift-Off feature and remove the pod from the foot of the vacuum. The two attachments are great. Love the light on the Brush & Crevice tool. The TurboBrush Pivot Pet tool works amazing well, but it is noisy. Great overall vacuum and it is a new and improved Pet Hair vacuum!

We have three fur babies. Husky and Husky mix. So we have a lot of dog hair all year round. When the blow their winter coat. I can keep up with it with Pet Hair Eraser. The can fills up fast in our home. Sometimes I need to vacuum twice a day. We have wood floors and rugs it works great on all surfaces. I love the fact I can detach the wand from vacuum. Works great on our furry furniture. We have a lot Bissell of products in our home for cleaning. They work and last.

Brush not low enough and suction is poor so bare floors basically never get clean and yes, I have the brush on its lowest setting. Hair eraser tool is good at removing hair from furniture but it is extremely loud and gets tangled easily. Tube is not long enough for basically anything, stretching it even the slightest amount causes the vacuum to fall over. I should not have to hold the vacuum in place the entire time I vacuum my couch - so inconvenient and cumbersome! I wish the wand was collapsible/bend/split in some way because the length is cumbersome to use and is more hassle than its worth most of the time. The size of the canister is good and I appreciate the liftoff feature. I really like the Bissell brand but this was a very disappointing purchase. My last Bissell Pet Rewind vacuum, which I used for 10+ years, worked better than this more expensive, brand new one. There was a noticeable change when adjusting the height of the brush and the suction was fantastic. Lose the useless light features and focus on improving the things that make a vacuum a vacuum - suction and effectiveness on all surfaces!!!

I have used Bissell for years and in the past have sworn they were the Best!! But this Model cost more and is Not worth your money. I’m Highly Disappointed!!!!! I own a cleaning business, I go through vacuumes every 4-6 months. I hope you read this, please don’t waste your money!!!!

Honestly, I had such high hopes for this vacuum. I was replacing my Shark vacuum due to the fact the new ones are practically uncleanable (brush). This one seems like you are able to clean out the brush (roller head) and maintain the vacuum much better. I mainly have hardwood floors, and dog hair is my main issue so I spent the extra money and got the pet version. I was highly disappointed in the suction and leaving a mess along the floorboards, along with the lack of ability when the roller head is turned off. Which, was something I was excited about to keep from possibly scratching floors. Now I'm still using my Shark upstairs and this one was shunned to downstairs as a.second vacuum. Ill stick with Shark and just take them up on their amazing warranty until I find something worth a high price tag, or find something built to last second hand.

I only buy Bissell products because I’ve seen firsthand how they support animal rescues/welfare. This is my latest purchase and I truly love this vacuum! Not only is it a great vacuum, but the light and lift-off features are things I didn’t know I really needed. If you ever have a focus group, please consider including me. I have a few ideas . . .

My Pet Hair eraser vac is almost 9 years old and it works as well today as it did when I bought it new. As the Dog Mom to a 6 year old white lab and soon to be 8 weeks old lab puppy, I need all of the help I can get wrangling all of that fur. This vac does the job.

I had this vacuum for about 6 months a year ago( before my ex stole it) and of all vacuums I have owned, this one is phenomenal. I have 2 dogs one of which is part Australian Shepherd so shes got a ton of fur and a double coat and sheds like a maniac. This vacuum was a dream and I have not been able to find anything that comes close to it. So sadly my home is covered in fur no matter how much i vacuum. Needless to say I whole-heartedly reccommend getting this one. you will not regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have four cats and a Siberian husky, so pet hair is a very regular visitor in our house. This vacuum has allowed me to see the hair on the floor (hardwood) and helps me see it better with the light. The attachments are great too, I can use them to vacuum their cat tree and dog bed with ease. The canister is very easy to empty and clean. The brush doesn't get hair wrapped around it due to the little teeth. The wedge attachment has a light on it as well which is wonderful for baseboards.
