I have thick pile carpets. The height adjustment makes it easy to push Can't believe the amount of cat hair it picks up. I like the retractable cord. Wish it were longer but that is the only downside I found. I have not used the attachments so can't address that. Like this vacuum a lot and the price is very reasonable. I am happy with this purchase.

I love my ClearView vacuum. We had our carpets replaced and my husband was surprised at how little debris, sand etc. was under the carpet padding. Even the carpet installation crew were surprised. I Proudly said it was thanks to my Bissell. I literally can see sand , dirt popping out of my carpet in front of my Bissell vacuum. When I had a vacuum company ask to demonstrate their vacuum they only got a few specs out of my carpet. I will be nice and not mention companies name but they go door to door. My carpet was over 10 yrs old then and I had a day care. I still have my first ClearView it is about 20+ years old now. Plus my newer rewind, ProHeat 2, Little Green Machine and I am looking to add another for hard surface. Maybe multi. surface. Thank you Bissell for making my life easier and my home cleaner. This is my honest opinion. I truly love my Bissell's.

The color is really pretty that's about all I have to say I have never owned a Bissell, and will never buy another one again. I should've known not to buy a retractable cord. I didn't pull it past the yellow or the red tape that's on there and it won't retract you would think they would've put a hook knowing that it would not work....

I tried it once upon receipt and noticed that the cord was self retracting during use. I then watched a few times as the cord would creep back in each time. I contacted customer service who initially was going to arrange for me to drive 25 minutes, drop it at a repair shop and make a second trip when it was repaired. It took a bit of protesting that this was ridiculous for a vacuum that I possessed for one hour. They finally relented and were going to arrange an exchange but I was going away on a lengthy summer trip the next day and opted to wait. Upon return, I decided it was not worth the exchange effort and decided to keep it. That was a mistake. I realized how short the cord was to start with and how much shorter it became during use. The first time I tried to empty the cup, it was apparent that I would have to disassemble it to remove the dog hair trapped in the upper half. The only positive I will say is that it does pick up well. I bought another brand that works great without issues and plan to send this back with no concern for the money I apparently wasted.

I truly thought my floors were clean because I vacuum every week sometimes more. I received my BISSELL vacuum and I could not believe how much I wasn't getting with my other one..

There are pros and cons to t his vacuum cleaner. Pros-its lightweight and easy to manuever. Cons, the cord does not retract as the video indicates, I have to manually get it started. Also, the cord is not very long and if you go to far, it pops out of the wall socket, and lastly, the extension wand does not reach even a full flight of stairs. I am disappointed with this purchase.
