  • A: The pre-motor filter can be washed as needed. You'll want to hand wash in warm water and rinse well; mild detergent may be used if desired. Let dry for 24 hours, or until completely dry, before reinstalling.

  • A: Hi Michael. The BISSELL CleanView Rewind (model 3676) does not have a dedicated switch that automatically disables the brush roll when switching from floor to hose mode. Instead, when you remove the hose from its base for above-floor cleaning, the suction is redirected to the hose, but the brush roll continues to spin if the vacuum is still powered on and in the reclined position.

    Great Suction, But Doesn't Stand Up

    Vacuum works great, super strong and haven’t had an issue with the suction or anything yet. Very easy to clean and move around. However, I bought it about five months ago and now it won’t stand up. The whole vacuum has to be propped up when storing or using the wand, or it falls down and spits dust out. Even when trying to push it around in a locked position the foot just falls so you can’t drag it anywhere, you have to pick up the whole vacuum off the floor. Love how it works, but it is such a huge inconvenience to have to constantly hold the base up I don’t even want to use it.

    Awesome vacuum

    Nice lightweight machine, easy to use. Auto rewind cord may hit you so watch out. Good price on Bissell quality. This replaced a stick vacuum and I like it better. Suction is good and the brush doesn't push trash around it draws it in. Great vacuum and price. Highly recommend product and seller.

    Defective & Extremely Noisy not in a good way

    Good suction and light weight. The rotary brush cannot be turned off for bare floors and is extremely noisy on bare floor mode and the 2 levels above that. We found a screw that fell out of the brush assembly but could not find out where it came from. The accessory tools are poorly placed on the sides of the machine and hit furniture and fall off constantly. The cord loses 4-5 feet when clipped to top of handle to keep it out of the way from vacuuming it up. The unit is extremely hard to snap it in its upright position after vacuuming.

    Problematic dog hair on base tubing.

    When I read the reviews on this, they are excellent. So I bought one, and it did just like the one before it collected my dog's hair on the hose.The base of the hose, about six inches of it that goes into the machine. Okay, I don't know where it comes from. No, idea. Then, I bought another one exact same problem. You guys just didn't have any other ones that I could get.So unfortunately, I have the same problem. This is a manufacturer issue. Four machines and same issue. Same spot and about the same amount of hair.

    Better than Dyson

    Choosing a good vacuum can be difficult. I had a Dyson, that no longer works after only 4 years. This Bissell has so much power, and the additional attachments make all of my vacuuming jobs quick and easy.

    Overall it is a good vacuum, picks up the dirt well enough, easy to empty. The two downsides compared to my last Bissell vacuum (35961) is that the cord is 1/3 shorter and the vacuum takes more effort to push around.

    Catch it if you can

    My previous vacuum was a Bissell CleanView without Automatic Cord Rewind and a wider clean path , the one plus to this model is the automatic rewind , as one previous review stated on hard floors it has a tendency to just scatter some of the dirt , I can live with it for the price I will just sweep up what this vacuum doesn’t pick up which is easier/ faster than chaising it around

    amazing & way better than a dyson

    GREAT vacuum - favorite feature is the cord rewind! It has great suction I’ve used it on carpet and hardwood and tile all with great results. So much better than the Dyson I had and returned within 2 days This vacuum is a great buy!!

    Great vacuum for smaller space with floors and area rugs

    Pros: Lightweight, relatively quiet, price and easy to put together. The vacuum came nicely packaged with all parts and pieces. It contains a guide for easy setup and usage. A bonus was a link to actual videos that showed setup, use, and care which is a nice feature. Cons: Unable to vacuum stairs easily, hose is to short to reach places, tools ineffective for actual cleaning. Overall, this would be a great vacuum for a small apartment/home with vinyl flooring and area rugs. I found it difficult to push on medium carpet, unable to get flat to go underneath beds or consoles, the hose was too short to make the tools effective. I did return this item. Target made the return so easy!
