Amazing vacuum , i would buy one for a love one as a house warming gift

Excellent for dust reduction. I have had one for over ten years now, and I am so impressed that I am currently purchasing a new one. The old one was held closed with tape. The trick is to always dump it out, or hose it out. And get the replacement hepa filter part every year or so. That's it, because the simple to dump cannister is awesome.

I did a lot of research and I'm mostly happy with this vacuum. It does pick up dog hair and dust well from my hardwood floors. some of the tools are cumbersome to deal with. The pet turbo tool is hard to use, doesn't run really smoothly across carpet, and it can be difficult to use on the stairs. The skinny nozzle has a rubberized tip that causes it to drag against carpet or flooring, so that's a minus.

had same item before. gave it to someone in need. replaced with a new, same model. wonderful. excellent.

I had the previous Hoover Wind Tunnel for 15 years and I gave it away in excellent condition to replace with the latest model. A few things changed that were nice features on the older model. This model is missing rubber strips on plastic wheels, the power button used to be on handle and easier to reach and the arm on this has to be inserted and screwed in where the old one had a latch and when pressed it the arm folded down for better storage. Not sure why Hoover changed these features but regardless, the vacuum performs very well. Not sure it will last as long as the previous model but I'm satisfied with it nonetheless mostly for the improved suction, minimal noise and no streaking on carpets/rugs. Add the other features back and it will be a perfect vacuum.

We just got the vacuum today and it assembled easily and it works. However, by printing the Notes, Cautions, And Warnings in a tiny black font on a dark gray background, you made this information almost unreadable. What were you thinking? My 1 star rating was only for the printed instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first took this out of the box, I was shocked by how lightweight it was however, it turns out that because it’s so light as I was setting it up I had a lot of trouble getting it to remain with the handle standing up. There was enough weight in the handle that it kind of kept pulling itself down it’s very difficult to clip the handle in general as you finish vacuuming back into place. It has multiple settings, depending on your floor type from anything from bar floors to height, fiber carpet, which are on the front. The best feature is the retractable cord. It’s so easy to pull it out and then with the push of a button with your foot it retracts back in meaning no time spent bending over and wrapping the cord. It also makes it easier than to use the attachments and tools if you don’t have to use all of the cord, it was very easy to assemble and quick to get started with.

The suction power picks up pet hair and dirt with ease (we put it to work) and the filtration system keeps dust from escaping. It’s easy to maneuver around furniture, and the noise level is surprisingly low for the power it delivers. The dust capacity is great, so I don’t have to empty it often. Overall, it’s a great vacuum for pet owners. I especially love the cord rewind feature.

And the Hoover Rewind Pet Upright has now made itself a permanent part of my cleaning routine for its effectiveness and convenience. Between pet hair, everyday messes, and a mix of carpet and hard flooring, it’s been handling everything like a pro. The suction is strong, and I notice it pulls up way more than I expected— especially from rugs and deep carpet I thought were already “clean.” Switching between floor types is seamless with the move of a switch on the vacuum. And it picks up just as well on hardwood as it does on plush carpet. The pet tools are super handy for getting fur off furniture and stairs. And everything has a holder ON the vacuum so it’s always with you. I use the extension hose to reach corners and baseboards too. The hose has a good length, but I do wish it were a bit longer. To counter that, I just pull the long electrical cord and move the vacuum along with me. It moves well as an upright, allowing you to angle as needed, but it’s stability when using the hose/wand is best when it’s close to you. The best feature, and my favorite one is the cord rewind is another win. It’s one of those little features that makes a big difference—no more wrapping cords by hand or dragging them around the vacuum. Step on the foot pedal, and the cord instantly rewinds on its own and into the vacuum. I love that I no longer have to wrap a heavy cord around the vacuum and untangle it every time I use it this is a huge plus! I also like that the dustbin holds A LOT and it is easy to empty. No complicated latches or cloud of dust in your face. And the rinseable filter makes maintenance simple. If you’re dealing with pets (or just want your floors to actually feel clean), this vacuum gets the job done with less hassle. It’s efficient, satisfying to use, and clearly designed to make your life a little easier.

It’s like I never vacuumed 😬 I like that I can remove the canister to dump everything out of it. Comes with three attachments. I also like how the handle extends for those hard to reach areas. It did a great job in all areas of my home. I would say the only thing was my cats fur, that was stuck to my blanket. I tried to vacuum it but it wasn’t really picking it up. Which is odd because you can see there’s a lot in the canister. It’s loud like your normal vacuum. We used to have a Bissell vacuum for pet hair but it broke after about a year. We didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a Shark vacuum, so we settled on the Hoover brand. This purchase was worth the money. This vacuum has a strong suction, a retractable cord, and different attachment’s. It works well on bare floor and low carpet which I love. You can also switch the rotating brush at the bottom off so it’s only suction and won’t push dirt around. I also don’t think it’s heavy or bulky. Ive had it for about a month now and have no complaints. It’s also very easy to clean and empty out. If you’re like me trying to find a good vacuum for a decent price, this is the one!

Hose redesign improved clogging problem. Plus this vacuum has cord rewind. BUT why in the world it has 8 amp motor??? Can we please have 12 amp vacuum with same design?

NEEDed this for pet hair that seems like it accumulates hourly with 3 dogs in the house. It cleans very effectively. I like the retractable cord and hope it works flawlessly for a long time. I have not cleaned the filter yet but that was one of the reasons I purchased this vacuum. The attachments are handy for cleaning in small places and recliner crevices.

So far, so good! Vac was delivered timely and parts were easy to assemble. I read instructions & vac seems to do everything very well. I like the rewinding cord too. I am very pleased with this purchase. Hoover is a name that America has trusted for many years.

I recently purchased this and I am amazed! Definitely the best vacuum I have owned. It has great suction and leaves your floor and carpet very clean. It is easy to move around and not too heavy. Buy it You will not regret it!

It jam packed that bagless dirt collector and has been able to keep up with the dirt and hair. It has great settings for hardwood, low carpet, and high carpet. The cord roller upper is a huge improvement from having to wrap wrap wrap the cord all the time.
