    Not great

    Right off the bat the electric cord was a problem. It doesn't retract on its own like I thought it would. That was one of the features why I bought it. So manually doing it isn't any different from wrapping the cord from the outside like most vacuums are.

    WOW!

    I bought this Hoover Wind Tunnel vacuum form my daughter. Her old vacuum just wasn’t doing the job and she really needed a new vacuum. So I did some research & thought the wind tunnel sounded like what she needed especially having a kitty that sheds fur. Yesterday my daughter called me & kept saying the new vacuum worked like WOW! She couldn’t believe what a super job it did cleaning her carpets & rugs. It was funny because almost every sentence included WOW! Your vacuum made her extremely happy & in turn that made me extremely happy too! Thanks for your excellent vacuum!!

    Canister is terrible

    Can’t unlock the canister to empty. Use to like them but this one is a pain in the neck to empty. Will never buy this one again.

    Works well with thick carpet

    I have had one of these vacuums for 7 years. I have thick carpeting and I had to set my shark on a weaker suction and it didn’t seem to be cleaning the way I wanted. When I got this Hoover, I vacuumed the same area that I just vacuumed with the shark and filled the collection container. It has worked really well for me. It has kept the carpet in good shape. The trick is to find the best height setting and to move slowly backwards and forwards for the best cleaning and raising of the pile in the carpet. I like the fact that you don’t have to decrease the suction for a thick carpet, just raises the height.

    Just stopped

    Purchased my vacuum cleaner less than two months ago and it suddenly stopped working. Checked my electrical outlets and they’re all working. Anyone else have this problem?

    Sturdy and inexpensive

    This vacuum is very sturdy for the price. It picks up dog hair easily (Siberian Husky) and the rewinding cord is handy.

    Forgot to add on previous review: DO NOT WAIT TILL the vacuum “change filter” turns red, indicating the need for replacing the bottom HEPA or top intake filters. The top filter (circular) needs to be rinsed regularly as directed. The red/green indicator NEVER turns red. Just check the HEPA regularly too. Again FANTASTIC suction power after years of use!

    Ive had this model for several years and still suctions amazingly! Just replace both filters once (or twice if needed) a year. VERY happy customer!

    🚫 DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY 🚫

    This vacuum smells like burning plastic when turned on. The retractable cord stopped working after the first use. It’s very heavy, hard to maneuver, and poorly designed. The windtunnel is difficult to reattach and not easy to empty despite claims that it’s “one-button” simple. Overall, extremely dissatisfied.

    Love wind tunnels ♥️

    The only vacuum I will buy is a Hoover wind tunnel. They suck up dirt like nobody’s business. This would be my fourth possibly fifth wind tunnel over the last 25 years.
