BISSELL CleanView Max Tangle Free Pet Hair Pick-Up Vacuum Cleaner 4072 - 12.1" Cleaning Path Black

We have a lot of Dyson vacs, but this Cleanview Max is now my favorite over the Dysons. Very well designed. Great cleaning for both rug and floor. Great filtration (I'm allergic to dust). I love the very intuitive and well placed latches, and controls (I don't have to use my feet to turn it on/off or push a release to bring the handle towards me for floor vacuuming . The handle doubles as attachment extension tube! As a handheld vac it's very efficient, and works well. The expanding tube is very well made and robust. The best part for me is the ability to unlatch the body and carry around a handheld vac with smartly designed tools and hose. Unlike what others have said, I think this is not cheaply made. Yes it's all plastic, but is thick and strong where it needs to be. I found the swivel feature works well, enhances steering and is a godsend in tight spaces. Easy dumping of canister without having to dig it out the debris with stick or old toothbrush (like we have to do with the Dysons). Costs less than half of a Dyson and IMO, is much better than Dyson.

I love this product and can’t believe how well it works! Suction is fantastic!!!I have very long hair that always got twisted around the roller on my old vacuum (that really didn’t pick up anything to begin with. ) Problem solved.! It is amazing how much dust accumulates in just one time!!!! Absolutely worth every single penny and I’m sorry I didn’t discover this a long time ago!! Very reasonably priced and I cannot recommend this enough. If I could give it 100 stars I would.. 2/2026

Poor suction. Owned a similar Bissell and it had great suction and cost less. Wand sticks and is hard to remove. Sweeper tilt back loose and keeps opening on its own without even pushing release button while just standing idle. Greatly disappointed in this model.

Every pet owner should be issued this vacuum with their rescue pup. This thing sucked up an entire second dog's worth of hair. I thought my house was clean but OMG. It found dog hair trapped in my rugs that I never knew had been left behind by my (really well known famous brand) stick vacuum. Also, the pet hair eraser attachment restored my poor blue velvet couch to practically new. (Can't do anything about that dog drool though). I wish I bought this years ago!!!

This vacuum has been a great find for me. I have 8 pets and the suction is strong and no tangles in the brush roll at all! I have thrown away my shark and orecks and have zero regrets in tossing them. For less than half that price the two bissells I got did the job.

Hard to maneuver over carpet. Feels cheap. Also doesn’t have great suction. Wish I had purchased a Shark.

Great suction, very light, and very quiet but the wheels are not great and make it hard to push.

Really was looking forward to this vacuum. Sadly it disappoints. Made out of very cheap plastic. Wand was broken when I opened box. Returning to store.

Tangle-free roller. 5 out of 5 stars. This was the main reason I picked this vacuum. I have long hair and I'd constantly be untangling the roller on my old vacuum but after several uses, not a single hair was tangled. I considered keeping this solely for this wonderful feature. Suction on single-height large rugs. 5 out of 5 stars. The suction was fantastic. With the old vacuum I'd need several passes on the carpet near the cat litter boxes. This one got it all in just one pass. I could see a difference in all the rugs with this vacuum. Maneuverability- 1 out of 5 stars. This is the main reason for the low rating and my return. It swivels but not very well. It wasn't easy to turn it around furniture. It took more effort to push than my old vacuum which could just be because it has better suction. Suction on multi-length carpet. 1 out of 5 stars. I'm not even talking about huge height differences. One rug blue with some white designs. The white is just a little longer than the blue and in the areas with both colors, the blue doesn't get as clean as the rest of the rug. This was really annoying. Suction on door/floor mats. 1 out of 5 stars. These are just your basic door mats/rugs with some anti-skid on the back but pretty thin. With my old vacuum, I could turn the roller off to vacuum these just fine. You can't turn the roller off here and even at the highest height, the rugs just get sucked in. There is no way for me to clean these unless maybe I had someone standing on the other side to hold it down. I don't have shag rugs but I doubt this would be able to handle those. Emptying canister. 4 out of 5 stars. With just regular dust, it was easy to empty. When I'd vacuumed an area with lots of long hair, I had to reach in and pull some of it out. The hair was sort of wrapped around the inner intake tube (?) in the canister. It wouldn't be a deal breaker if I liked everything else. Size wasn't a problem for me. I'm 5'5 and the height was fine. However, if you're much taller you may find it too short and there's no way to adjust the handle length.

Vacuum is narrower and has better lighting, so I can see all the dirt it's not picking up.

Hands down the best vacuum I’ve ever used. I didn’t know a vacuum could be this good. The amount of dirt and cat hair this thing got out of the carpet was incomprehensible. The first time using it, I had to empty it over ten times (and I vacuum frequently!!) I didn’t even know my carpet was that dirty.

The suction power is incredible and It picked up everything with ease when I was cleaning to move. With three pets, I’m used to rollers getting tangled with hair, but this one tackled all the fur without any issues. The headlights were a nice bonus and made a big difference when cleaning under furniture and in darker areas. My favorite feature is definitely the roller brush because it stayed clear the entire time, making cleaning so much quicker and easier. I definitely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CleanView Max Tangle-Free Bissle vacuum was easy to put together and had incredibly strong suction. The square design made cleaning along side boards easy and efficient. Shifting from hardwoods to carpet was easy with the turn of the knob, but the suction is so strong, my rugs were being pulled up and made a loud noise from the roller bar hitting the rug, so I had to change the carpet level often. The convenience of one machine tackling my hardwoods and rugs meant cleaning all my floors in 20 minutes. The lights helped see under my couch, and helped me make sure I got all the dust in the darker corners. The filters made sure all the dust stayed in the machine, and after one go around my floors, the amount of dust it picked up was crazy. It works great, is a really good, affordable vacuum. I’m docking one star for the difficulty of vacuuming the rugs, and the way it picked it up and made a loud sound from the roller bar hitting the rug. But, it also shows its strength in cleaning. It’s a great value and I’m glad I have it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CleanView Max Tangle-Free can tackle the MANY types of messes that pop up day to day or are left behind by carefree toddlers (and possibly husbands?) and our beloved pets. The CleanView was easy to assemble right out of the box, and the instructions were clear and straightforward. It is designed to maximize functionality, including the designated spots to store and secure the attachments, a clip to hold the hose in place, and my personal favorite--the Quick-Release Extension Wand. I was most excited to try this feature, as I utilize the wand attachment quite a bit when cleaning furniture (the never-ending Cheerios, bunny crackers, and dried Play-Doh that find their way into the deepest crevices), curtains, ceilings, and even the stovetop. The extension wand made cleaning these surfaces so easy and efficient. I'm on the shorter side, but the longer length of the wand allowed me to access these areas without having to stretch on my tiptoes in order to reach overhead areas, which is not the case with many vacuums I've used in the past. I found the suction power to be more effective on our hard floors than our carpeted floors, as the dirt tank was filled with dog hair after only one use. This could also be attributed to the headlights, as it allowed me to see just how much dog hair had actually accumulated under the coffee table and behind the recliner. Overall, I'd recommend the CleanView Max and will be playing around with the settings more for my carpeted floors.

Having a solid reliable vacuum on every floor makes things infinitely more manageable. Whether it’s pet hair on rugs, crumbs on hardwood floors, or cat litter - everywhere - this vacuum tackles the mess effortlessly. The cord is long enough to reach multiple rooms without constant unplugging, and the capacity is huge. It’s also surprisingly lightweight and easy to maneuver, and the swivel is a nice feature that spares my wrists, saving them for picking up kids that are well past the point of walking independently. What really stands out about this vacuum is how thorough and reliable it is — one pass, and the floor looks freshly cleaned. The dust canister is simple to empty, always a plus for a busy mom!

The light is a nice feature and helps to see debris that may otherwise be easily missed. The vacuum is easy to maneuver, easy to empty debris, and design helps to prevent long pieces like hair to get stuck around the wheels and runners. We have hardwood and carpeted rooms as well as a dog-it has worked well on all surfaces and done a great job in vacuuming the pet fur.

The size of this product concerned me at first that it may be heavy but to my surprise, it's actually extremely light weight. The weight helps it glide effortlessly across any surface. There is an adjustable knob that allows you to change the height of the wheels to make moving from carpet to hard surfaces, a breeze. The product has literally everything you need from attachments to lights. I've already used the extension wand multiple times to get into those cracks and crevices or hard to reach corners. I think the lights on the front really help detect what's in the pathway of the vacuum and after it sweeps across the floor you can see how much it picked up. I have animals and this vacuum is great at picking up those pesky coarse hairs that get stuck in your carper and upholstered furniture. Not having to deal with a brush inside the vacuum where you have to cut off hair, strings, and other yucky particles is such a relief and much more sanitary. It has already proven to be truly tangle-free! The suction is extremely powerful which is my favorite feature about this product and that's exactly what you would expect when you think about what a vacuum is meant to do. I really love that the product looks modern and the wand the has a nice silver finish. Within minutes the canister showed me how much it had already picked up, and it made me realize just how much we don't notice the dust, hair, and debris that are laying on our floors until I was able to see it. The ClearView is living up to its name. You will not be disappointed when purchasing this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best part about the Bissel CleanView Max Tangle-Free is the suction power and the lights on the front part of the vacuum. I am a mom of little children and those lights made me realize just how dirty my floor actually was!! The lights helped me not leave as much behind. The hose suction power was very useful for getting in the crevices, under kitchen cabinets. However, the hose wand does not easily come out. There is a wand release button and it still seems to kind of stick when I go to pull out the wand hose. That part was disappointing. Another thing, I would change about this vacuum is the manual cord wrapping. It takes longer and kids have troubles wrapping and even unwrapping the cord, whereas some vacuums have automatic cord retracting system, which my family finds very nice. I was glad for the brush attachment on the hose, however I don’t find the spinning attachment as impressive. This is definitely not a light weight vacuum. It’s not terrible to move, but it is not extremely smooth either. I would recommend Bissel vacuums to my friends, however I’m not sure this is the one I would specifically recommend.
