Hoover FH68002 Powerscrub XL Pet Carpet Cleaner Deep Clean, Shampoo (Manufacturer Refurbished)

I have had this cleaner for about 4-5 months. And wow its fabulous. I wanted a scrubber machine, with strong suction, and easy to use accessories and easy to clean when finished. The containers to fill the soap, water, and dirty water pop right out and then right back into place. Wash up clean, free and easy. This one is perfect. Easy to use. And most importantly does a great job. We have a,large dog and light colored carpets. So its a work horse for me.

I just got this unit a few days ago and it works wonders!! It has better suction than any rugscrubber I have ever tried and it comes with a really nice upholstery attachment. This machine is really easy to use and has decent sized water tanks for less stopping. The only thing I dont like about this machine is the ahort cord.

I bought this 6 months ago and used it 3 times, it did a great job and I was happy there was no plastic bag to melt inside the clean water container. Unfortunately I pulled it out today and saw that the piece holding water in the bottom of the container was broken inside it. I pulled them out, and there’s no way to re-attach it, making this a horrible purchase.

This is my second Hoover carpet shampooer in two years and I have had nothing but issues with them. This current model (Power Scrub XL) does not spray water when using. It literally drips water rather than spraying it. I have even gone as far as flushing the water hose with extremely hot water to ensure there is no block in the line and that has not helped at all. I am very disappointed with Hoover and will not buy again.

Do not buy this. I have torn apart the box looking for any documentation on how to use Hoovier brand pet cleaner or any shampoo with the CARPET SHAMPOOER and everything I read for how to/direcitons say use the correct concentration but Nothing tells you this. I don't want to have to get on the internet to find a guide. I am at this effort and have looked through your support and the page selling the pet cleaner without finding anything on how to dilute the shampoo or where to put on the machine except one line saying pour some into the water tank but nothing about how much.

Our adult cat had big feelings about new animal additions to the house and let us know via urinating ALL OVER the house. Once he started we couldn’t keep up with spot cleaning and he kept going back because we couldn’t get it all. After confining him to our oversized laundry room for awhile we worked on carpet cleaning parts of the house we planned to give him access to. I was super impressed with stain removal, ease of use, the light weight, and the ease of cleaning the machine after use. We cleaned the carpets with a rental when we moved in 2.5 years ago but nothing in between so it was much needed anyways, pick up SO MUCH grime - I’m excited for regular carpet shampoo schedule one the whole house is reset!

I've had my Hoover XL for one year. And for the first couple months it worked great. And then I put the XL in the closet. Now, after several months of non use, my XL no longer dispenses water at the base. If I attach the hose to the base, the hose sprays perfectly, but when I detach the hose, the base still doesn't spray.

Cleaner works great. Now just 2 issues. When you hit the trigger for the water to come out to start cleaning nothing comes out. And the second is when it is sitting with water in the tank it will leak all over the floor. I took the cleaner apart to find out what the issue was, and I found out that the valve When you hit the trigger it does not let all the water out.

I should have done more research when I saw that this item was deeply discounted. The clean water does not and will not properly fit, rendering the machine useless. I triple checked all connection points and everything else is seated properly, it's just a bad product. I discovered that several other people posted on the internet about this exact same issue.

This is a replacement for our 15-year-old Hoover carpet and floor cleaner. The old model worked wonderfully for us, so we bought a new one when the old one had to be replaced. Since we bought the house 7 years ago, we have had several professional companies clean the 2 carpets in 2 of the bedrooms. There were always stains left where a person walked in the door and went to the bathroom or closet. The first time I used the cleaner, using the Hoover product provided, the stains were almost gone. We will be purchasing the HOOVER® Prime Professional Cleaning Formula to try to eliminate the rest of the stains. WE are confident it will take out most of it.

I bought this as a replacement for my older other major brand cleaner. This Hoover blows the other brand away. The rotating brushes make a huge difference. They carpet dries faster and cleans deeper. I wish I would have bought a Hoover to begin with.

We bought 2 of these for our school and have used them SO MUCH!!!! So this is out 3rd summer with these two and we use them in all of the offices, and throughout the year when there’s spills or after vomit clean up. They’re fantastic!! We have only ever had to replace the scrub brush head. Absolutely love this!!!

It removed a lot of dirt from the carpet. The stair tool did not seem to get much suction.

A picture is worth a thousand words. I was going to write a long letter describing the features that impressed me, but I'll just let the attached pictures speak for me. I was going to mention things like how easy the "pop and snap" installation was; no tools required, how lightweight the machine is, how easy it is to clean, how superior the suction is; my low-pile shag carpet dries in under two hours and there is no mildew odor during the dry time. I was also going to mention that due to some negative circumstances, I fell into "a funk" and allowed my carpet maintenance to laps considerably and how my new Power Scrub XL helped to get me back on track, and that now that my carpet is clean I am going to remodel the room in the pictures which will include installing gym equipment. But, I won't write a long letter and bore you with all that stuff. Here are the before and after pictures. :)

I just completed cleaning all of the carpets and area rugs in my house. This is my second Hoover shampooer. The last one died after over 20 years of faithful service. I’m happy to see some of the improvements made over the years: the solution is no longer added to the “clean water” and the clean water and dirty water tanks are the same size…less starts by and stopping. It’s also lighter.

Cleans the carpet well, however I will probably never buy another hoover product. One of my family members moved the special hose and since I have all hard floors and one living room rug, I mostly wanted to use this on upholstery. Why is the replacement hose half the price of buying the whole machine. I've used this machine twice and now am probably going to give it away to buy another brand that doesn't use parts as ransom.

So, I didn’t know I could genuinely adore a carpet cleaner. I regret to admit, I bought this out of necessity and did not have much hope for it, but this wonder-machine has changed my toon. No tools needed to put it together, no “how does this work” if you actually read all the notes in the box. My carpets were clean and not soaking wet(!!) in the end like my last carpet cleaner. My grand finale is that when I finished, I usually need 3 tools and gloves to clean my (trash) carpet cleaner. This one just clicks apart!! Everything that should be cleaned after every use is easily removable (again , read the instructions if you can’t figure it out. I promise it’s there). I already recommended this to a friend. Good job, 10/10 would buy again.

I bought this yesterday, today was my first time using it. As I poured the dirty water down the toilet I saw a red cylinder fall in just as the toilet auto flushed. Why make it so the filter falls off so easily? No I have to order one and am not able to use the machine until it comes!

I received this for Christmas and it leaks water very badly.

I had this product for less than a year it has an issue with draining water all by its self leaving puddles of water. And now it doesn't spray water at all. Very disappointing I have taken it apart.
