This machine is amazing! I have always went with Shark never again With my 50 lb fur girl there was a lot trapped in my floors not anymore!

I love love, love the sweeper. I love how it detaches to sweep different things and it is light.

I have had sharks that need to be replaced after a few years. Wanted something different. I really dislike this vacuum. The dog hair has wrapped around the roll already 2x in a few weeks. No easy way to get to it to clean - you have to unscrew like 6 screws. The Suction sucks - and the cord is too short and located low on right hand side which I never knew would be totally annoying as I hold cord with left while vacuuming with right. It is lightweight - but feels cheap. Did I mention suction sucks? and we have hard floors / low pile carpet in 80% of the house. This was a costly lesson. Looking for black friday shark deals. At least they do a great job for a few years.

I thought this vacuum was going to be great for pet hair, but it’s quite the opposite. When it’s on the floor setting and changes to the carpet it will leave behind the dog hair you’ve just vacuumed. I’ve also noticed the cord is shorter than other vacuums and I’m constantly having to unplug and plug back into another outlet.

Our shark vacuum was finally giving out on us after having it for a few years. I was debating on getting another shark until I started researching the Bissell brand vacuums and this one caught my eye. Let me tell you I'm so glad i did!! I'm not exaggerating when I say this cleans better than my shark vacuum ever did!

It’s a very loud vacuum and it doesn’t have the retractable cord. You have to manually do it.

I’m in love with this vacuum, I bought it a couple days ago because I’ve been needing to purchase a new vacuum but was pushing it off due to them being so expensive. Let me tell you, ZERO buyers remorse after one pass with this vacuum. The light is amazing, the cord reach is great, the suction is phenomenal. I’m so happy with this purchase

Wow! It really picked up dog hair off of hardwood flooring. It’s powerful especially on carpet. I definitely recommend this vacuum for anyone with pets.

My wife is a quilter. The floor gets covered in thread and bits of cloth. That wraps around the roller brush. Ugh! This vacuum resists thread wrap as well as it resists hair wrap around this roller. It cleans low and high carpets and does great on hard floors, and cleans much more deeply than our old Eureka. The detachable unit and wand makes cleaning steps much easier. The wand and crevice tool works very well to reach behind hard-to-reach places. You don't need to have pets to benefit from this vacuum. It does great on human hair, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a long-haired Ragdoll cat and 2 young boys, so my home needs vacuuming nearly every day. Between the cat-hair-tumbleweeds and typical kiddo messes, I have been looking for something that will handle both, along with regular household dust/dirt with ease. Thankfully, I've found it in the CleanView Max FurGuard Vacuum. With its enormous suction power, I know I'm getting up everything that I pass over, small or large, the first time. The dust cup really is XL, it takes a LOT to fill it up, so it reduces stopping to empty over and over. The FurGuard technology on the main brush roll is great and I only wish it was duplicated on the turbo pet attachment. The attachment wand is very long and stretchy, which is important to me. (I'm on the shorter side, so having a long and flexible attachment is helpful when I'm cleaning things up high.) The power cord is quite long, so there's no searching for a new outlet every few feet, either. So far, the CleanView Max FurGuard Vacuum has tackled everything that I've thrown at it without skipping a beat, including my cat's favorite sleeping spot that gets covered in his fur. (See attached picture!) I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who's looking for a true "pet hair" vacuum, this is the one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great vacuum for spaces with both carpet and hardwood floors. The suction power on the carpet is amazing, after using this vacuum in our bedroom, where my long-haired dog loves to sleep (and shed all his hair), you would have thought I hadn’t vacuumed for a month with the amount of fur and carpet dirt/dust came up. In all actuality, it had been about 3-4 days since I had last vacuumed. My carpet looked almost brand new and the difference in using this vacuum from our regular one was truly evident. Using the smaller turbo brush on the couch was like getting to use a professional vacuum you’d find at a car wash. It even got up all the extra fuzzy material coming off the couch. I used the same brush on my daughter’s car seat as it was covered in glitter from her Halloween costume… end result was zero glitter in sight. I love how quick and easy it is to switch the tubing to use the different tools, it’s a plus to not have to stop what you’re doing and take the whole vacuum apart just to use a different mode. The HEPA allergy system is also a great perk to prevent the sniffles that usually come from all the dust and dirt being kicked up. This vacuum makes cleaning easy and it also simple enough that my 5 year old can use it! I’d definitely recommend to anyone, even more so if you have pets and/or children!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vaccine has been one of the best that I have tried from Bissell! The suction is super powerful, but very loud. It sounded like a spaceship was taking off in our home, but was able to get the dirt out of my carpeted stairs that my precious vacuum was not. The lights on the front make it super easy to see the dirt and debris on hardwood/laminate flooring so that you don’t miss anything. So far, I have used this just for everyday spot cleaning and getting the carpet area on my stairs. It has done really well! My only complaint is that I wish it had more tools for reaching high up places and a tool that is easier for the stairs. I am overall super impressed with this vacuum and excited to use it for some deep cleaning!

Between my cats, dog, and children, fur and crumbs have just become something we are just use to at this point. Before using this vacuum, I thought my previous one had done a pretty good job of lifting fur and debris from both my carpeted and hardwood floors. After I gave this CleanView Max FurGuard a go, I couldn't believe what it picked up. The suction on this thing surprised me in a good way. I will say, when I removed this from the box, I was taken back a bit by its size. It's a lot smaller than other vacuums I've used and I wasn't sure what to expect. After I put it together, and tried it out, I rather like it. It has options for both carpeted and hardwood as well as to use the roller brush or not. It is lightweight and I really love that it has a swivel steering which is helpful when I need to get switch directions quickly. The light is another nice feature in my opinion as it illuminates the floor in front of it and allows me to see areas that need attention. The dirt tank is decent size and I'm able to vacuum my entire home without needing to empty once. If you need something that is powerful, lightweight, and doesn't take up lots of space, give this a go. All in all, I'm a fan.

The detachable cleaning wand and pet tool make tackling stairs and furniture super easy, and the narrower head fits perfectly on each step. It’s lightweight, handles smoothly, and leaves those satisfying striped patterns in the carpet that make everything look freshly cleaned. Totally worth it if you have pets!

I just figured pet hair is always going to be a part of my outfit...until I got this vacuum. We presently have a cat, but my mother-in-law recently visited for several weeks with her dog. The sweet pup is a pitt mix, which means that her glossy yet coarse hair penetrates into fabrics easily. Having had a pitt before, I was expecting some difficulty getting the hair out of my couch and carpet. Enter the CleanView Max Furguard. I vacuum frequently, as I have significant allergies to dust and cat and dog dander (unfortunately for my sinuses, I can't help myself when an animal is in need). I am very picky about my vacuum for this reason, as my allergies tend to trigger intense asthma exacerbation and debilitating migraines. I need a powerful machine which can be used to vacuum both carpet and hard floors, curtains, air vents and even fan blades to minimize the amount of dust and dander that is kicked up in my home as I clean. This vacuum seemed capable of meeting all of those needs, so I was excited to try it out. I started in the room that sees the least amount of traffic: my five-year-old daughters bedroom. We recently moved into our home with all-new flooring and I have vacuumed frequently, as always. I chose a space about 4 feet by 5 feet which has held nothing more than stuffed animals. To my surprise, a LOT of debris came up from that carpet. I knew then I was dealing with a powerful machine! I used the pet fur attachment with the hose to suck out the dog hairs from my daughter's stuffed animals, a parting gift from our kanin visitor, and having the ability to customize the suction on the hose based on the fabric of the plush toys is a game changer! This is probably my favorite feature - it allows you to adjust the suction based on the surface you are trying to clean, from plush carpet to low carpet/bare floors. In this way, I can easily get a good clean no matter what surface I'm trying to clean! Intermittently throughout the day, my teen or my preschooler will end up dropping some sort of crumbly snack on our hard flooring, and nothing is missed by this vacuum. I'm relieved to know I can rely on it for even minor messes. When I'm doing a full house sweep, I can plug the cord in on the first floor and easily reach the top of the stairs with plenty of cord to spare. Adding a cherry to the top of this awesome vacuum, I love how easily the wand release and lift off buttons operate. The dirt cup is also easily detached. I like that the on switch has a setting for turning on the brush roll as well, rather than that being a separate switch, as I've seen on many other vacuums. All of these releases and setting switches are firm once set but easy to change as needed, which is ideal given my rheumatoid arthritis. Having to maintain a frequent cleaning regimen, less stress on my hands and body is definitely ideal! After cleaning for less than an hour with this wonder-vac, my allergies seemed to be less intense. I don't believe that's simply a coincidence. I'm very excited to have this machine as a part of my daily housekeeping routine and am enjoying my much cleaner home since using this amazing vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView Max FurGuard is a really solid everyday vacuum. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars. It's lightweight, easy to handle, and WOW does it have some impressive suction power! We have two dogs and two school-age kids, so we seem to be constantly dealing with dirty floors, between dogs shedding and kids tracking in grass and turf pellets after soccer practice (not to mention leaving crumbs from their snacks everywhere). We also have a mix of carpet and hard flooring in our home, which can sometimes be a pain when vacuuming. The Bissell has settings for different-height carpets as well as a brush roll that you can easily turn on or off, so it moves fairly seamlessly over different floor types. It also has a removable wand and two attachments, one for vacuuming furniture/upholstery and another for getting hard-to-reach places like under cabinets, baseboards, and under furniture. I like that the attachments are stored right on the vacuum so they're always handy. Getting the vacuum up and running was quick and intuitive. It took just a few minutes to assemble, and the settings are clear and easy to use. The first time we tried it out, it was just one day after my husband had cleaned using our old vacuum (also a model marketed for pet owners, but it's more than 10 years old). It was shocking to see how much dirt and hair the Bissell pulled out of the carpet that had been recently vacuumed--a real testament to its powerful suction! And did I mention this vacuum has headlights?! Yeah...be prepared to really see how dirty your floors are! One of my dogs is terrified of the lights, but I love the fact that they make it so easy to see the dirt and hair you're vacuuming up. So satisfying! Of course, nothing is perfect, and this vacuum is no exception. A few cons: the cord is fairly short, so you'll probably need an extension cord if you have to vacuum a larger room or hallway. The vacuum maneuvers well, but it has a tendency to click back to the locked/upright position when turning, which can be annoying. This might get worked out as it gets used more--time will tell. There's also some drag when pulling the vacuum backwards on a thick rug. The canister is super easy to get off and empty, but putting it back on is a little clunky. I wouldn't consider any of these deal-breakers, though. Overall, I really like this vacuum, and I think it's a great deal at the price point. It's got serious suction power. I would love if it came with a few more attachments, but this vacuum ticks almost all the boxes for general use and is a great choice for pet owners and parents dealing with life's everyday messes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With two energetic little boys, a husband, and a male cat running around, I needed a vacuum that could handle everything from crumbs and tracked-in dirt to cat hair and fine-grain litter messes. Most importantly, it had to work well on different surfaces, like carpets, rugs, vinyl plank floors, and furniture. Honestly, I was very impressed with how well the CleanView Max FurGuard performed. The suction power is strong and consistent across my plank floors, area rugs, carpet, and carpeted stairs, easily picking up everyday messes without losing suction. I appreciate the carpet type control, so my rug still gets cleaned with the brush roll on, but the suction isn't overpowering enough to prevent it from moving around. One feature I really love is the FurGuard self-cleaning brush roll, which prevents hair from tangling up around the brush. This feature alone has saved me a ton of time and my back! The LED headlights are such a neat feature that made it easy to see the hidden dust and fine litter grains that get under the furniture that I would’ve otherwise missed. What's also great is that this unit is lightweight and the canister is easy to empty, making quick cleanups less of a chore. The vacuum also releases from the base, making it easier to use the wand attachment on the stairs. The amount of dirt I was able to clean from the stairs was unbelievable. I could not find a single negative thing about the CleanView Max FurGuard at this time. It did an exceptional job! Overall, it’s an excellent fit for our very busy family, and it’s truly made my cleaning routine faster and a lot easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took the vacuum, brand new, and attempted to clean my grandparents' apartment since they've had it rough lately and it was starting to get questionable. The suction power was decent and adjustable. I loved the attachment and was able to use the brush to narrow end with one hand. I wish it were a little more narrow and a little longer so I could get into the crevices next to the laundry. The dust bunnies didn't stand a chance if I could reach them, but I would've liked the hose to allow me to reach higher around the door frames and ceiling corners. When I needed to clean things up close, it would've also been nice to have another detached handle that was shorter in order to be more precise. I did like that it was easy to load into my truck as I found a great hand hold to grab. It is a large vacuum, so sorting it in a small space isn't ideal. Overall, I was able to be very effective with my challenge.

I completely ditched my old vacuum and even my broom because this one does it ALL!! The suction is incredibly strong, and it comes with two handy brush attachments that make cleaning corners and picks up all my pet hair in a breeze. It works great on both carpet and hard floors and the attachments make it easy to clean sofas, stairs, and those hard to reach corners spots with the wand. I really like the swivel steering, it moves side to side smoothly for easy maneuver. The built in LED lights are another great feature they help me see every bit of pet hair, crumbs, and dust while I vacuum. The brush roll is powerful, and I love that it’s self cleaning. It also comes with two Febreze filters that are easy to wash and keep everything smelling fresh. It has a button that stops the main brush from spinning just in case you want to use just the wand so it won’t damage your carpet of floor. The vacuum detaches easily from the base and is light enough to carry around without hassle. Emptying the canister is just a quick press of a button, and it picks up everything in sight. I’m really impressed with how easy it is to use and how much I can get done with just this one tool.
