Motor Burned Out
It was fine while it lasted but I recently removed the attachment to vacuum something up and as I was doing that, the vacuum started smoking and now the brush no longer spins. I assume the motor burned out. I have had the vacuum for approximately 9 months.

I am so excited about this new, adorable vacuum. It was very simple to put together, it’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. I’m not sure why people have said it’s too loud. Best vacuum for hard floors!
We bought a new house with hard flooring. We have three long-haired cats, so we need to vacuum frequently. We tried several other vacuums, but none of them actually picked up the hair and dirt. That is until I bought our Eureka Power Speed! This is my favorite appliance, by far! One swipe over dirty and debris and it's gone. Hair around the head of the vacuum will pull into the unit from all angles without contact! We've had our vacuum for over 6 months and it's still working like it's brand new (and we use it A LOT!). 1000/10, HIGHLY recommend!!

My house cleaner asked me to buy this Eureka because I have dogs and my vacuum cleaner wasn't doing the job. The price was right so I bought it. I couldn't be more pleased. I'm shocked at how much dirt this vacuum picks up! You can't beat this vacuum at any price!

It started out so perfect.. just like reviewers were saying. I’ve only had this vacuum for about 4 months. It doesn’t vacuum well anymore. Like at all really. But some the handheld suction part works perfectly. And the vacuum is not backed up. I checked already So I tried to troubleshoot it. Apparently since it’s past the return date, I can’t return or get it fixed. This sucks. Very disappointed in your service target/eureka for not helping your customers!
