Forget the pet stuff! This is the hardest vacuum to use, like pushing a Volkswagen uphill. And the swivel part is just a nuisance. If only there was a way to lock out swivel feature..... I would not recommend this product.

Target did not want to return this vacuum or exchange it for another one. After one week the flexible hose came out of the vacuum completely. After six months it broke again. Terrible.

This vacuum is very easy to move around b it that’s the only thing I like about it unfortunately. I bought it last year during Black Friday but did not use it until last month when I bought my house. It sat in the box all this time and after about 3 weeks the hose broke and then just a few days ago the piece that covers the brushes on the bottom of the vacuum fell off and burnt holes in to my kitchen floor. I plan on reaching out to Hoover but am not hopeful according to the previous reviews.

This is the worst vacuum! I used the vacuum 3 tine and the beast broke 2 times. Looking at the belt set up, it seems like the belt is just slipping right off the rod holding it in place. Pretty terrible design. I wasn't impressed with how well it cleaned either.

This thing is a piece of junk. I've owned multiple Hoover vacuums through my 50 plus years and this one if by far the worst one. I've owned since may and it toppled over, blows the dust around on the floor while sitting still and now it will NOT pick up anything on carpet. I'm highly disappointed in this model. Don't waste your money or time buying this one. Might be time to switch to a different brand.

I have had Hoover vacuums forever but this one is unsatisfactory. It is heavier than you would think from the website and isn't good at picking up pet hair whether it is the floor or furniture. It is awkward to move and heavy to try to manuever requiring two hands often. I would not recommend Hoover any longer, it seems this company is no longer making great vacuums!

We bought the high performance Hoover swivel pet XL in March 2023 from Canadian tire. It physically broke within 2 months of the purchase. We exchanged it at Canadian tire. 2 months later, the motor blew.

This vacuum has some major design flaws and is poorly made. Hose came unglued within about 3 months, which apparently is common. The brushroll never shuts off, which means you can't use the upholstery attachments without burning your rug/carpet. A plastic roller on the bottom has now snapped off, making it hard to move the vacuum from room to room.

After less than a month from purchase and three times of cleaning my bedroom carpets of normal height with proper adjustment set on vacuum cleaner, the belt broke. The friction from the belt had melted the plastic rod in the brush roller requiring replacement (COST about $50.00). It is concerning that these products of such poor quality are being made and sold to the public under a reputable brand name.

Very disappointed with the vacuum. Almost new and it won't turn on. I've searched all over the internet to find a solution with no luck, I've tried contacting via chat, no luck, i've tried trouble shooting guides, no luck. Just an endless wild goose chase. There are no service centers within the entire midwest to take for repair, no one responds to chat msgs. I've searched this model number uh75210 and it's as if it doesn't even exist. I am assuming it's a bad power switch and I've tried to find parts for it, no luck there either. What a complete waste of money! Bought under a year ago. .

I had a shark prior to this vacuum , the quality is noticeably different than my shark vacuum . The only thing I really like about is the long cord . The features are not convenient to swap over . The crevice tool is the worst one I have ever had . Just over all not happy with my purchase of close to 200 dollars I would have thought this vacuum would have been nicer . I have a Hoover rug cleaner that I have had for years love it . But I will never buy a Hoover vacuum again

I have had this vacuum for a few months now with multiple uses and using all the attachments. I've also used a different carpet settings. I have had no issues and it does an amazing job with quick cleaning for even more heavily soiled areas and the air filtration seems to be great. I am typically skeptical. Like Most products, this vacuum is made from what seems to be every plastic part that other vacuums are made of, but seems to be the one that has worked best for me thus far out of four or five different brands.
