Q: I have this rug on my laminate flooring in my living room. It is white/cream with gray design. The instructions on the back label say NOT to wash it. But the description on this listing says, "Machine Washablel". Hmmm . . . which us true? Thank You

It becomes flat and even the color changes. I just washed it today and it still looks the same. It’s best to just buy a new one when yours begins to look like mine did. It’s a cheaply made item.

It became very flat looking and the shade just turned more like gray or a dull color. I then washed it in cold water, and it still never looked good. I’m just buying a new one.

Q: How thick is the rug--that is, how high is the pile?

A: They might mean that there isn't information about the pile height, but I purchased this rug a little over a year ago and it's pretty thick. I would say it's at least 3/4"-1". Extremely soft too! I put it in my daughter's room and we love it, but I will say it doesn't have a hard backing so it definitely gets messed up easily (will develop a large wrinkle throughout and needs to be smoothed out frequently). Ours is on top of her very low pile carpet.

Q: the description says it's 100% polyester but the comments are saying it is Olefin which if I google says it's polypropylene. I am concerned that this is chemically treated so please confirm.

This rug is great until it’s not. It is in our living room and once it becomes flatten, there is no recovering. It looks matted and very gross. Save your money for a better quality as you’re only wasting it here

As soon as we unrolled the rug there appeared red/purple stains and or it looked like red/purple fabric was braided into the rug. The rug is a good size and besides the stains it looks great in the space it is in.

...this was obviously opened before we got it. The rug came wrapped in plastic, but was not rolled up evenly. Then when I unrolled it there were huge swaths of dirt (see pix) on the ends and in the middle! Can't send it back because it's too big for me to handle by myself so I'm really very disappointed with Target right now.

Looks great and is super soft even with the low pile. It did arrive with a dirty mark on the top, but I was able to easily clean it with Folex spot remover.
