Q: Hi, there! Can you wear shoes on this mat for other workouts, such as HIIT?

A: Can you? Of course, you could. The answer provided is a good one that this is designed for yoga and Pilates in which bare feet are used. The mat is lighter weight and pretty thick so could become a “tripping” hazard if you try to do HIIT type of workouts. I recommend the all in motion mat that is heavier with a rubberized composition to help it lay flat during the workout.

I’ve bought other brands in the past that claim to be slip resistant, but THIS is the real deal! I just did two videos using my new mat and I felt like I could focus on the exercises so much more because I wasn’t constantly repositioning my hands to keep from slipping. Amazing product! I decided to start working out again, because I need to and wfh means I move around a lot leas during the day. I of course went to look up the blogliates equipment to grab my gear! The mystical moment mat is soft, but thick enough to be used on my tile floor, doesn’t make me slide, or stick to me. I use it right in front of my living room tv. It’s cute, comfortable, and works like a champ!
