Play sun safe with Blue Lizard Kids Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion. Formulated with Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, this kid-friendly mineral sunscreen provides broad-spectrum, head-to-toe sun protection from harmful UV rays, including 98% of UVB rays. With up to 80 minutes of water resistance, this is the ultimate choice for more fun under the sun. With a new and improved formula, this 100% mineral sunscreen now includes antioxidant-rich Blue Algae. How to Use: Shake well prior to use. Apply liberally to dry skin 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours. For topical use only. Keep out of reach of children. For children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor. Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. I really wanted to love this sunscreen but it just didn’t work for us. I would apply it 15 minutes before my kids would be out in the sun & within 30-45 minutes I could see them getting red. We have used this about 3 different occasions now & every single time all of my kids have ended up sunburnt even with reapplying it like the packaging says.

I do not recommend this new formula sunscreen, as my daughter developed a widespread rash after using it. We previously used the old formula Blue Lizard sunscreen without any reactions or issues.

One positive is that it has no noticeable scent, which is great for sensitive users. However, the major downside is that it leaves a strong white cast on the skin, especially noticeable on darker skin tones. It does the job in terms of sun protection, but the white residue is a dealbreaker for me. Overall, it’s a decent product, but I won’t be repurchasing. It is water resistant!

I had a horrible reaction to this sunscreen. I've never had a reaction to any type of sunscreen. Using this resulted in a near full-body itchy rash. I absolutely do not recommend this sunscreen. My husband got a rash as well, although not as widespread.

Rubs on great, no white sheen like I always deal with with other sunscreens. Doesn't feel greasy which I am the pickiest about cause my kids and I have sensory issues. The packaging is perfect for on the go. This bottle has been shuffled around in my purse and lost all around the car, but has withstood everything. No sunburns. Perfect protection. Great ingredients. Going to be sticking with Blue Lizard until the end of time.
