Terrible product. The consistency is sticky. It stained all my clothes. And it leaves a horrible white cast that doesnt go away; in fact if you start sweating it looks even worse. Terrible product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion is highly rated for protecting sensitive skin, offering broad-spectrum, mineral-based sun protection with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. The soothing, fragrance-free formula with aloe vera is hypoallergenic and water-resistant, making it suitable for daily use and outdoor activities. Some users mention a thicker texture and a slight white cast, but overall praise its effectiveness and gentleness on the skin

Sticky and white

All of these 5 star reviews are from people being offered something for their reviews. Terrible white cast. Smell did fade though. Super sticky and never dries. This never dries. It stays greasy and sticky. Leaves a horrible whote cast and that's coming from a person who uses shades like IVORY and PORCELAIN foundation. It clings to any dry areas. It's great if you don't care about any of the things I listed because it did work for me when I wore it to the zoo all day. I will use this for situations where I do not care about wearing makeup but other than that, not purchasing again.

I had asked for help through the Target online for finding a decent sunscreen and this one DOES not deliver!! Not only did it somehow further white wash me (I’m a porcelain / white skin toned girly for reference) — this stuff stains your clothes and anything it comes into contact with (peek the photo I’ve attached. Those rings of blue are not what my shirt looked like before). Not to mention it leaves you shimmering and shining as if you just sprinkled glitter over your whole body. I thought I’d give it a chance since I burn easily but the cons far outweigh the pros. Returning immediately.

Stinky & White Hue. Finding a better sunscreen is an expensive undertaking. This lotion didn't get absorbed and just had a very chemically smell and because it goes all over, it even had a funny taste to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d give Blue Lizard SPF 50 about a 4/5 overall. What’s good: • It’s really protective — mineral-based, broad-spectrum, reef safe, and water resistant. You can trust it in strong sun or while swimming. • It’s gentle, so if you have sensitive skin, eczema, or want something safe for kids, it’s a great option. • The cap changes color in the sun, which is a fun reminder to reapply. What’s not so great: • The texture is pretty thick. You have to rub it in well, otherwise it leaves a noticeable white cast (especially on medium to deeper skin tones).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product, I usually don’t like wearing sunscreen because of how greasy they leave my skin, but not with this one, I really like the texture, it doesn’t feel heavy at all. Absorbs quickly and leaves little to no white cast. Definitely my new favorite!! Plus the packaging is so cute.

This is the #1 sunscreen in our family. I first bought it from my grandson who has eczema and it worked so good that I brought it on our trip to Hawaii. It’s reef safe and we never burnt once or got red and I tan very easily. Some of my family members burn easily and it worked out amazing for us. This is our favorite sunscreen!!normally I use height end sunscreen, and this never made me break out when I put it on my face, nor did it make my daughter break out on her face

After using this product for two days, I woke up with a bad rash where I had applied the cream. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to test a small area of your skin for 48 hours before use.

Extremely bad. When I used the spray version from Banana Boat, it was totally fine, but after switching to this one for 3–4 days, my skin became noticeably dry. It made my skin very dry and visibly rough!!! I will never buy from this brand again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] overall this is a great option for those who want a reef-safe, mineral sunscreen! I will say, it does take a bit to rub into the skin to get rid of any white cast, but overall this did a good job at protecting our skin from the sun during a cruise to the caribbean. I’ve bought this brand before and I will likely buy again!

This sun screen gave my 4 yr old the worst rash I have ever seen. I am so upset about the pain this cause my granddaughter. Please do not buy this product. We had to take her to the doctor. Then the medicine they gave her burned. Tge only thing that helped was a bath in Dawn dish soap to remove the oil that is in this product.
