Q: Are these designed to inhibit bacterial growth while in the dispenser before it’s used? Should you use distilled water to activate rather than tap water?

  • A: Distilled water is not required! We tested all different kinds of tap water across the US with our cleaners to account for differences across homes. We’ve tested all of our products with water hardness up to 400ppm and no difference was seen in quality.

  • A: While our Foaming Hand Soap tablets are specifically designed for use with our foaming hand soap pump, the tablets can be used with other foaming soap dispensers, as well as non-foaming dispensers! Please note that as not all pumps are the same, the soap might come out thin and watery when used with a different foaming soap dispenser but this does not affect the product’s efficacy and it will still be safe to use!

    Hand Soap Tablet Refills

    I really like using these dishwashing tablets hand soap tablet refills. I like the idea of using a reusable glass bottle instead of buying plastic bottles each time I need more handsoap. I also like the scents Blue Agave and Perrine Lemon because they are mild and refreshing, not overpowering.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these because I was constantly refilling my old plastic Method hand pumps and that meant frequently buying the large refill containers. These took up a lot of space. The Blueland refills take up much less space and the soap seems to last just as long. You just need to know it takes up to an hour for the tabs to fully dissolve.

I love that they take relatively small storage space in comparison to 5 bottles of hand soap or refill bags. Even the "greenest" refill options still have some bits of plastic, it's nice that these use zero! It feels good to be able to make one small choice for the planet and reduce plastic use wherever we can.

    I put a full one in a regular size hand soap pump and it's not very soapy at all. A little disappointed since their other products blew the expectations out of the park :(

    Skeptical but these are awesome!

    It takes some time for the tablet to totally dissolve. And the first couple pumps came out watery so I was skeptical. Now that everything is "settled in", it works great & smells fantastic. Thank you Blueland. Knowing I'm not filling the landfills full of plastic bottles anymore is seriously a relief!
