  • A: Hello Helina, Great question! When you plug the earbud case into the charging cable the battery inside the case will charge, and the case will simultaneously charge the earbuds. While the case charges the red light on the case will blink. Once the red light on the case is solid red then the case is done charging. When you unplug the case from the charging cable the light will usually turn blue on the case meaning the battery is still charging the earbuds inside. Which is why the light on the earbuds inside of the case is red, because they are still charging from the battery in the case. Once the blue light turns off on the case, then the earbuds are either fully charged or the case battery has run out of power. After explaining the charging features of this product, let me answer your original question; if the earbuds are in the case and the case is plugged into the charging cable, then the earbuds should be fully charged when the red light on the case stops blinking and goes solid. They may charge inside of the case for a few more minutes if they are unplugged from the charging cable indicated by the blue light on the case, but they are considered fully charged at the point the case stops blinking and are ready to use! Most of the heyday earbuds do have some charge when fresh out of the box, but it usually only lasts for a few minutes. When the charge is low you can experience connectivity issues with these earbuds, so, although you should be able to test them right out of the box for a minute or two, we would highly recommend giving them a full charge right after that. I bought these because they were a cheaper price. Within a month of using them, they were no longer connecting properly to the case they come in, so they were not able to charge, and i would have to turn off the blue tooth on my phone so they didn't get used. I searched everywhere for a fix to this issue, but i could not find anything. Buy a different brand because these might be the worst earbuds i have ever used.

One size does not fit all, bad battery life

They are designed for larger ear canals, I usually use gel tip headphones and use the smallest side gel tip. So these? It feels like my ears are bruised by them. Outside of that, the battery life is awful. My heyday 8s are way better than this, I bought these because I lost my 8s and the sound quality isn't as good either. I give it two stars because it DOES connect to your phone and the sound works. It is functional at best, and the color is cute too. But just not worth it. Should have put this money toward better headphones.

The sound and battery life are fine however they hurt the outside of my ears. My ears end up feeling bruised. When I used the old style they were great they fit perfect but now the fit is terrible for some reason.
