Product Tastes Awful!
Maybe the process used to commercialize this product has changed over time, or a lot of people giving reviews were paid influencers, because I see a lot of high ratings, but the product that I bought in late 2025 is absolutely disgusting. The flavor is a sharp, overwhelming, bitter/metallic taste. Chickpeas don’t normally taste anything close to that. They’re pretty bland, buttery and slightly nutty. I had high hopes for this product, but after tasting the dough that I made with it, I had to throw the whole thing away. It is really awful.

Love it! Great Egg Replacer! Single Bags Please!
Love Bob’s Red Mill Chickpea flour. I use it often as an egg substitute and for omelettes or quiches or in falafels or jackfruit Crabcakes. I would like Target to carry this as an individual bag to purchase. I don’t use enough to justify buying four bags at once. Although it is a good price for that for people that do. So I have to buy it elsewhere until then.

Nutrition label wrong???
I don't understand why the nutrition info on the package is so different from what comes up on a Google search for "garbanzo flour nutrition." Does Bob's really have so many MORE CARBS than other brands? I suspect the label is wrong, but I'm cutting carbs so will avoid this brand.

Chickpea flour A+
The Chickpea flour is wonderful. Exactly as described and came professionally packaged and shipped quickly. I made chocolate muffins with this flour and they were delicious. Today I am going to make crackers using the flour and am excited to try more recipes. Highly recommend the Chickpea flour from Bob’s Red Mill.

Useful ingredient in Pudla
This flour works well to make a non-dairy crepe in a recipe from Pakistan called Pudla. I also use it as a non-gluten thickener in vegetarian soup.

Versatile and healthy
I have been making socca bread, banana bread and zucchini fritters (omg yum) with this product and it’s quickly become a pantry staple. Filling, full of protein and doesn’t feel heavy like a flour based bread product. For those of you who also have dietary reasons for not eating flour, I highly recommend trying this. It’s been a game changer and there’s never a piece of anything left in my house, it’s happily gobbled up by all the family.

AWESOME PRODUCT!!
This product is so versatile. You can use it as a replacement for almost any baked goods, especially cookies, since the holiday season is around the corner. It makes a pretty darn good pizza crust and pancakes. It makes excellent vegan "chicken" patties when combined with vital wheat gluten. It's very convenient. So delicious and healthy, guaranteed!!

I love this stuff. I make high-veggie, plant-based omelet every morning to accompany my bowl of oats. I add some to ww bread dough for a crispier crust. I add it as an egg replacement in pancakes and use it to make baked falafel. It’s makes getting a complete protein easier for this plant-based girl.

Great light flavorful
Love this healthy flour. Has a great taste! Use it on poultry before baking it seals in the moisture and adds a nice flavor. Not so heavy like white. Also in stews and baking.
