Fades Quickly
I loved the rug initially but it’s not holding up. The black has faded to a bluish gray, and unevenly at that. And some of the edges have started to unravel.

Rug has sharp pieces in it
Gorgeous rug until you walk on it. It has sharp plastic pieces embedded in it that can’t be cut out. They are through the entire thing and if you walk in the rug in bare feet, it can puncture your skin. We purchased the 8x10 rug for our main living space and you can’t walk on it bc it’s like walking on a minefield. Awful.

Not a true black....would swear it's Navy Blue?
Dropped a star as I would swear the jute fibers in this rug are navy blue rather than black. Against all the true black in my house (stair railing, chair bases, painted doors) it definitely has a blue hue to it...especially in the light. In researching this rug, it does not appear to be marketed in a navy so know that the black is not a true black tone. Otherwise the quality is great and it is heavy enough that it lays flat on the floor and doesn't slide around.
