A classic mint flavor that’s anything but ordinary. Our proprietary and innovative formula includes Nano-hydroxyapatite (n-Ha) - a biomimetic mineral form of the same ingredient that naturally makes up 97% of your teeth material and 70% of your dentin. n-Ha has been the subject of significant research for decades with a wide variety of potential benefits across dentistry and oral care.
Boka is on a mission to inspire more mindful oral care. It starts with proven ingredients and feel-good formulas - and culminates into a full body-practice. Because when you take care of your mouth, your whole body benefits. And when nature and science team up together, we all win. So here’s to your health, starting with your smile and spreading far beyond.

Q: People want to know there is at least 10% N-Ha as that is what we’re being told is the least amount that is effective. Not telling us makes me believe you have a much lesser amount. Or be transparent so we know that what we are buying is worth it.
A: Hi there, thank you for reaching out. The assertion that 10% nano-hydroxyapatite is required to be effective is incorrect and not based on current science. The studies asserting this percentage are often over 10 years old and used a particle size approximately 10x the size of the nano-hydroxyapatite in Boka. Smaller crystals, like those in Boka, have been studied to be effective at much lower levels than 10%. While Boka does not share the exact percent of n-ha in our toothpaste, we proudly use one of the most effective, and well studied forms of n-Ha available and is one of the few forms of n-ha studied for safety and approved for sale in Europe

We don’t disclose the exact percentage of n-Ha in our formulation for proprietary reasons because we have spent significant time and resources to develop an optimal formula. We can proudly share that Boka toothpastes feature one of the best sources of nanohydroxyapatite that is commercially available, and this form of n-ha has been thoroughly evaluated by the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) as one of the few forms of n-ha permitted to be sold in Europe. Additionally, we carefully selected the n-ha used in Boka products for its superior performance and demonstrated effectiveness in clinical studies.

Q: Does a little go a long way?
A: You don’t have to use as much. Two of us take about 4 months to use one tube. Makes up for the price. Also it works great
