Bombelli Table

Beautiful, solid table. I really like the modern design, however, the box it came in was damaged and the corner of the table has a small nick when we opened it, which is noticeable if you're sitting at the end of the table. Also, the extension leaf has a bubble.

Another damaged target purchase !

This is the second target purchase that has arrived damaged ! Honestly I think target needs to address whomever delivers - it obviously was slammed down somewhere along the line and has a fractured bottom that isn’t visible YET- we hauled it to our summer home and noticed it ! Now what ! They have a number in the delivery box to call if there is an issue - but they no longer answer - ! What’s up with this target ! Now we will decide to either live with the flaw or have the huge hassle of taking home and returning !

Love!

Decent

Our first table came with cracks and dents. Returning/exchanging wasn’t difficult but it wasn’t quick since the table is very heavy. Our second table still came with cracks underneath where it slides open to insert the leaf. We won’t be using that so we decided to keep it. Afterwords assembling it I noticed a tiny dent on top but it’ll be covered by placemats or runners. So again; not a dealbreaker. The table feels very solid. The leg height is adjustable. The tabletop wipes clean, its a nice satin finish. For extra hidden seating our bench fits perfectly underneath. Our bench and chairs are also from Target. The chair height left enough room to cross my legs under table. I am happy with the outcome. But if our second table arrived in the same condition as the first, we’d return for a full refund.

Beautiful but

Table is really nice and HEAVY. Noticed it had a huge scratch on the leaf part. Literally had it one day and didn’t even eat at it. Will be returning.

Poor quality and missing hardware

The first table came damaged. The replacement was damaged as well but not as bad, however the hardware was missing so I was not able to put it together. After two phone calls and a week with no resolution and no replacement hardware, I decided to also have the second table picked up for return. The table scratches very easily and I noticed that even before putting it together. Would not work as an every day use table.

Good enough.

It is the best table you'll ever own? No. Is it an acceptable table at this low price point? Yes. It's super heavy. The finish is very delicate so we have a tablecloth on ours 100% of the time (which of course is a little annoying because it mostly defeats the purpose of having a table that matches your decor). My biggest frustration is that without the leaf (which is how we use it 99% of the time) the clips that hold the table together are too loose so they don't stay closed. Which means sometimes the center pieces slide apart a little and it also makes it more difficult to move. We paired it with four chairs from the same collection on the sides and two Bowden chairs in caramel.

I’ve had this table for just over a year and wanted to share my experience. I have a 2 year old and we eat at this table pretty much every day. Out of the box the table looks really great and it’s built really well. However, if you plan to actually use the table, know that it scratches very, very easily. Additionally, just the other day I pulled a Pyrex dish out of the oven and put it on a towel on the table. It ended up burning the black paint off the table and now we have a white/light grey area where the Pyrex dish sat. I couldn’t believe it. Because of that, there’s no way I would buy this table again.

very nice look, but could be better

I really like this table's look, sturdiness and price, however because it cannot be purchased in store, the delivery box came pretty banged up (and SO heavy). As a result, some edges were dinged and it was missing a couple of the dowels on the extendable leaf to fit into the table. Overall, it's nice, but I wish the attention to detail/quality control was better.

Happy about my purchase!

I have been looking for a black table for some time. I never expected to find it via Target. I like it a lot! Assembly was not too bad. I just had to call my friend to flip it over after I attached the legs because the table is heavy. I wish this has self-storing feature for the extension. At first, I was concerned with the condition of the box when it arrived. Thankfully, I have not seen any issue. I do hope it lasts long (looks like it will)!

Nice table, worth the trouble.

It took 3 tries before we got a table that wasn’t entirely damaged & still our third table has a noticeable “ding” on the top. The table is simple & nice, just what we were looking for but the wood seems soft & like it could easily get beat up after some use. Glad target was able to remedy the situation with our first two tables but it was still a frustrating situation to deal with.
