I can not say enough good things about the boox tablets
I've been wanting this ereader for a while mostly because you can use any reading app on the Google Play store as well as audio book apps. Like any device it takes time to adjust to but it's still 1000000000/10 better than a kindle.

Not as good as expected
The screen was very dim and washed out. Even the sample image shown on the product page looked much washed out and desaturated. Using the default Neoreader resulted in very low quality text regardless of screen brightness or font size. It doesn't even match the quality of my 5 year old Kindle. The ghosting is actually not too bad when reading just plain text and making the adjustments many have posted online. I was very excited for this e-reader but the low quality text is very disappointing. I don't know if I had a defective device but since there is no phone number for support, all I could do was return it.

Fan of the Boox Go Color
I really like this color ereader. As an android user, I love the options this ereader gives. You can download 3rd party apps like Kindle or Libby directly on the boox. You can also send books to and from different devices with Bluetooth or download directly from the Chrome app. The one thing that can be an issue is ghosting images from previous pages. I've noticed this can be more of an issue on the 3rd party apps. However, you can play with the autorefresh settings to make this less of an issue. Cute plus is being able to choose your own screensaver.
