Q: Hello. Would these work to sleep with? Trying to find something to quiet a snoring partner.

submitted by terrikb - 3 months ago
  • A: The Bose website says (Gen 2 version) has "Option to disable touch controls via the Bose app." If you sleep on your back, as opposed to your side or stomach, you could nap until the battery runs out.

submitted byBobBandAidUser - 2 months ago
  • A: The QuietComfort Ultra earbuds are not sleeping earbuds but they are comfortable to wear for long period of time and have noise cancellation, which help reducing unwanted noises.

  • A: Hi terrikb, thanks for reaching out about Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. While you can sleep with them on, they do slightly stick out and can have accidental button presses. Q: Hi, Does the case auto charge the earbuds similar to what it is in the Samsung earbuds pro cases or case must be connected to a source of power?

submitted by Mohamed - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Mohamed, thanks for reaching out about the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds use a USB-C cable to connect a power adapter to charge the earbuds in the case. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7 am-11 pm CST.

  • A: Thanks for the question Mohamed! The charging case doesn't need to be connected to a source of power - the case will charge the earbuds automatically when the buds are in there. You only need to plug the case into power if you want to charge the case itself.

Q: How does the noise cancellation compare to the headphones?

submitted by Tim - 6 months ago
  • A: This question is subjective to each customer. If you're unsure as to which product you'd prefer - headphones or earbuds - it may be worth trying both, and then returning the product you're less satisfied with insofar as this is possible via the seller's returns policy.

  • A: Hi Tim, thanks for reaching out about Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. While both the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds and the QuietComfort Headphones are known for excellent noise cancellation, there are some key differences: QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds: Strengths: More effective noise cancellation overall: Generally, the Ultra Earbuds edge out the Headphones in terms of pure noise reduction, especially in the higher frequencies. This means they might be slightly better at blocking out things like voices or sirens. Adaptive noise cancellation: The Ultra Earbuds have a feature called ActiveSense Aware that automatically adjusts the noise cancellation based on your surroundings. This means you can stay aware of your environment while still enjoying some noise reduction. Weaknesses: Less passive isolation: Because of their in-ear design, earbuds generally provide less passive noise isolation than over-ear headphones. This means that some lower-frequency sounds might not be blocked as effectively. QuietComfort Headphones: Strengths: Better passive isolation: The over-ear design of the Headphones creates a good seal around your ears, which helps to passively block out more noise, especially in the lower frequencies. More comfortable for some: Some people find over-ear headphones more comfortable for long periods of wear, especially if they have sensitive ears. Weaknesses: Slightly less effective active noise cancellation: While still excellent, the Headphones' active noise cancellation might not be quite as powerful as the Ultra Earbuds, particularly in the higher frequencies. Less portable: Over-ear headphones are generally bulkier and less portable than earbuds. I have every single AirPods that have came out but I still got these as a present. Wow these are so comfortable to wear for hours, noise canceling is fantastic, and the battery last a really long time. They stay on which is a problem I’ve always had with them falling out constantly. These have been my favorite. Had have them for about 3 years and no problems so far. Better then AirPods no doubt about that. 11/10

Less than 1 month after purchasing: the earbuds began to diminish in sound quality. Now 2 months later: they are completely unusable as they will not play at all. Not sure if I was given previously used earbuds but this is a huge waste of money since it cannot be exchanged.

I’ve had these for a couple of weeks, they were easy to set up and a great fit. I’ve had Bose Soundsport since they were released and I had high expectations for my upgrade - I wasn’t disappointed. Great that they turn on when inserted, and mute when one is removed. The tap and stroke controls for listening were easy to get used to. They’re excellent for music and phone calls. I’m really impressed by the noise cancelling.

The noise cancelling and sound quality are very good. You can still hear background in noisy areas but it's much much quieter. I can ride a noisy bus with my music on 10% volume and hear it just fine. At first I had issues with the rubber part of the earbud creating a sound when I stepped but playing around with how much it is rotated in my ear was able to solve this. The main problems I've had are with connection issues. I've tried two pairs, the first would disconnect about a minute after initial connection. The second pair has an issue where the left earbud sometimes takes awhile to connect. Once it connects it works perfectly fine, but this can be an annoying issue to deal with.

They are great except the noise to the person I'm talking to on the phone is terrible. I wish there was a way to enable a wind block feature on them. Doesn't seem available on quite comfort ultra, which is ridiculous because they are pretty high-end
1 reply from Customer Support team - 14 days ago
Hi there, thank you for your feedback. The combination of active and passive noise reduction technologies in your headphones is designed to block out most sounds, but it may not eliminate everything. You might still hear higher-pitched sounds like sirens or human voices, although their volume should be significantly reduced. Completely blocking out all unwanted noise is a feature we may consider in the future as we continue to innovate and improve our products. Kurt - Customer Support

I bought the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra earbuds, hoping that the ANC and call quality would be excellent!! However, I was extremely disappointed in both! The ANC was not very good at all; additionally, there was significant background noise whenever I was on my iPhone. (I could hear just fine, but people on the other end of the phone, my mom in particular, complained about constant interference.) As a result, I returned them.

I have had these close to two years and only used them mowing my lawn Worked great up until a couple months ago Keeps dropping my Bluetooth connection Might stay connected for a minute Then I can't connect again without a frustrating round of cursing and wanting to throw them Apparently the battery becomes junk after a certain time period as well after doing some research. Way too costly for what I got out of them. Sad because I have a household of Bose equipment and never would have thought about buying anything else UNTIL NOW
