Arrived damaged and taped closed
Arrived leaking and with a hole in the bag which someone had taped up. See the photo. Who tapes up a leaking bag and delivers it anyway? I have no way of knowing how much expensive cat litter leaked out before this was dumped on my doorstep. Target did not make it right. They wanted me to lug this bag back to the store if I wanted a replacement. Buyer beware. This item is not in good packaging for shipping and Target will do nothing about it.

Turns to sludge
I hate this litter. It does not turn waste into hard clumps like other cat litters. Instead, you get slimy sludge globs. We used this in our Litter Robot and there were huge chunks of sludge stuck to the walls of the globe. Never buying this again.

So far better than many!
I've been trying new litter for my cats, and this one has no visible dust and very, very low tracking. I'm shocked at the minimal or no tracking I see compared to others, including others within the same brand. I've tried the Air plant based one, which does track, but I think it has better odor control than this one. I'm still not sure if this one is the one but it does checkout low tracking, clumps well (could be a little better) and odors could be better.

Nothing special
I bought this litter on Amazon but wanted to share my thoughts here as well. The majority of the reviews are from people who received this litter as part of a promotion. In contrast I paid for this litter with my own money. I did not receive a discount and it wasn't on sale. For reference, I have 4 cats, one of which is special needs and 3 litter boxes (2 self-cleaning and 1 standard). Additionally, I normally use Fresh Step Outreach Unscented in 1 self cleaning and the standard box and Frisco Odor Defense Unscented in the other self cleaning box. Now on to the review: the Boxiecat Extra Strength litter clumps really well which makes it very easy to scoop the box and it is legit scent free. It is not dust free (The bag I got was less dusty that the Frisco Litter). The cats used this litter without complaint & the amount of dust present didn't cause any adverse reactions. Odor control is acceptable (for the price I expected it to be better) but the tracking is horrifics. Compared to our usual litters: Boxiecat is myless dusty and controls odor better than the Frisco Litter. However fresh step outstretch and Boxiecat are equally dusty. Fresh Step Outstretch controls odor significantly better than the Boxiecat and it also tracks less.

best litter for long haired babies!!!!
i have a super fluffy cat who tracks litter ALL over (she likes to sprint out of the box as soon as she finishes). when i saw this brand is the best litter ive ever used i mean it. she used to get clumps of dust and litter debris in her paws with other brands, and sometimes it would stick to her butt fluff!!! but since starting her on boxiecat shes been super clean, and the only residue she gets anywhere is the few litter specks that fly out whenever she runs out of the box LOL. have had literally no fall out when scooping, and it lasts at least two months longer than other brands ive used. (added a picture of my cat cos shes too cute)

Creates Immediate Problems
Packaging creates immediate problems upon arrival because the filmsy plastic bag is very heavy & thus hard to manage. Expect to have an accident on my first use. Will never buy again no matter how great the litter! I wish I could return this but the bag is too heavy. This litter could cost me a visit to the chiropractor. Don't trust these reviews.

Great litter
I bought this litter because the breeder recommended it. I probably will never change because I have no problems with it. I’m not sure why some people are complaining about smell. I’ve never smelled anything, and we keep one of the boxes right in the living room. I don’t even smell anything when I’m cleaning the boxes. And I’ve been in a house where a different brand was used and smelled “cat” right away when I entered the litter box room.

I definitely liked the litter at first but it doesn't cover odors in the slightest. I could smell everything and anything my cat left in his box. I only have one cat and the litter lasted me about 40 days. The clumping feature was nice but my cat still likes to dig all the way to the bottom and get the clumps stuck.

Cats love it!
One of my kitties is picky with smells and texture, and this litter is AWESOME. It's $$ but cheaper than a vet bill for a cat with a UTI who refused to use the box. I love this stuff!! I never thought I’d be so excited about cat litter lol. I’ve tried so many and none of them have tight enough clumps so the pee makes the box stink super fast. This clumps really hard and leaves no remnants, and there’s zero dust that goes up into the air which always grossed me out scooping with other litter. I didn’t scoop for almost 4 days and the box doesn’t smell at all. I will definitely buy this again! Worth the price for sure.
