Q: Can you think about changing the can to make it easier to open? It's difficult as is with only 1indent and then when you hold your baby it's nearly impossible to open. Love the product not the can!!!

A: Very hard to open even with 2 hands terrible when baby is crying. Wish they can make opening easier one less thing to stress over and manage.

A: Great question! Each unopened can of ByHeart is good for 24 months, but for exact dates, you can see the "Use By" date on the bottom of your can. Once opened, our formula can be used within one month (be sure to tightly cover the can after each use!).

While we have not studied tolerance of our formula specifically in infants with dairy sensitivity, results of our clinical trial showed our formula was easy to digest with less spit-up and softer poops in our nationwide clinical trial. That being said, infants have a wide range of sensitivities, so we suggest you speak to your pediatrician to see if ByHeart might work for you and baby!

Love it!
I exclusively breastfed my baby for 10 months when my milk supply dropped. I was weary to put him on formula because I didn’t want it to upset his stomach and I wasn’t fond of all the ingredients in big brand name formulas. I did some research and found that by heart does not have palm oil, corn syrup, artificial growth hormones, etc. Since he was exclusively breastfed I figured he would fight a bottle, but thankfully he loved the taste of this formula and took to it right away! It never made him constipated or gassy. It does get a little foamy when you shake the bottle, but I’ve noticed if you shake it slower it helps. And the foam/bubbles never made my son gassy anyway. Overall I am so thankful we found this formula, it made weaning him off breastfeeding a breeze!!!

After researching so many brands, I chose ByHeart because of their clean ingredients and whole nutrition approach..and I’m so glad I did! The lid is a bit hard to turn for me because my hands are on the smaller side. I like the scoop holder in the lid itself though! The ingredients look pretty good, unfortunately my baby didn’t have much interest in the taste. It seemed to mix well in the bottle without any clumping and directions were clear!

My baby took to it really well, no tummy troubles, barely any spit-up, and her poops have been way softer and more consistent. I love that it’s made with organic, grass-fed whole milk instead of skim, and that it’s free of all the junk (no corn syrup, soy, or palm oil). It mixes super easily too, no clumps or weird smell like some other formulas have. The only downside is the price, it’s definitely on the higher end. But honestly, for how well my baby digests it and the clean ingredients, I feel like it’s worth it. I just wish it was easier to find in stock sometimes!

Ingredient list isn’t accurate on targets site. This product has folic acid which I will be returning. Folic acid is man made and our bodies cannot break it down. If it had folate, I would keep it. So upset about this!

The value of the nutrients are well balanced out and it also is the closest formula to breast milk. My baby loved the taste because she was still trying to drink out the bottle even after the formula was all gone. One minor con is it gets really bubbly after you shake it. Overall, amazing product.

Great formula
My daughter has much preferred the taste of this formula and has seemed less spitty with it too. However I knocked a star off because of the scoop design. It’s a little wider than the enfamil scoop so it doesn’t quite fit into the dr browns bottles making it hard to not spill some trying to get it into the bottle. We now use a little funnel to get it in

We chose ByHeart because it is the closest thing to breast milk on the market! We especially loved that their data and research articles were easy to access through the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition! Our baby loves it! She was born ‘average’ size, and now at 3 months, she is in the 100th percentile for height, and 88th percentile for weight! We have been so fortunate! We are so happy with how things are going!

Love this formula
My daughter is doing great on ByHeart and I love that's she's getting full. When my breast milk supply started dwindling and I couldn't get it back I worried about what brand of formula to get her on. When I found ByHeart I felt hopeful it would be a great match and it hasn't disappointed. My baby girl is full and happy, no spitting up, not super gassy and has regular bowl movements. I love that the formula doesn't stink like most others do and it was a super easy transition from my breast milk. Thank you ByHeart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a good formula and my baby did enjoy it! My baby normally uses Kendamil and this was very comparable formula wise and caused no issues-it did have a more noticeable smell though. I love that they also have the option to do packets for on the go and will be purchasing those as it is easier to go places with baby.
