Q: If we want to use sheers along with drapes will we need a separate curtain rod in order to open and close drapes?

A: Hi Kat, You can use sheers and a curtain both on a single rod. However, some people tend to prefer a double shower rod instead just because it's less hassle to replace/move when you have two rods in one. The only thing to be aware of is that a café rod is best suited for lightweight curtains. Hope this helps!

This rod is pretty flimsy. It does look more expensive than it is but in order to get it not to bend we had to buy a wooden dowel to put inside.

I was excited to try this product because it is affordable and I didn’t want anything to expensive for my college apartment. For reference, I hung up sheer 63inch in length curtains. They are pretty lightweight but the rod still ended up bending. I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to spend your money and end up with droopy curtains

looking at other reviews - this may work if you are using curtains that are very light and for a very small window. If not, it will not work. The middle part also stays loose if you want to adjust it. It will keep moving. Lacking quality. I guess that is why it is so cheap Great target customer service.

They do the job but they are very thin and flimsy. I would reccomend using for sheers or semi sheer or if you want a temp/throwaway rod. Definitely opt for the nicer better quality ones for heavier curtains. These would also look perfect to cover glass doors and things like that
