A: Good question! Currently we use the decaffeinating agent methylene chloride in our process, which has been approved for use in coffee decaffeination by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

This size is like a third the size of a normal jar of instant Bustelo, but costs the same as a big one. The decaffeinating process can't be THAT costly!! They don't even carry the full size anymore, it seems. I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.

This Cafe Bustelo decaf instant espresso is a super quick way to enjoy your favorite drink without the jitters or time consuming process of making a good espresso. I love to have this after dinner. I was excited that there was espresso from Cafe Bustelo that is decaf! Plus, it’s instant so I don’t need to use a coffee maker! This is awesome and tastes delicious.
