[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We Purchased 4 of these containers, the size the shape everything about them was awesome except the lid breaks within a few uses . We did get a replacement that lasted a bit longer but again the lid split. Very unfortunate since everything from caraway is an investment .

We bought this large size container after having purchased the starter set. We are so happy with the product line that we are buying the same set for our daughter. You can hear the vacuum seal being broken as you open the container so you know that your food has been optimally sealed. You don’t get that with any other storage system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay ... I absolutely LOVE the idea of these containers ... I love the weight of them ... I love the glass see through covers ... I love the color selection ... I love everything about them BUT (and that's a BIG butt) trying to get the covers off! That in itself is a Herculean feat! Caraway has responded to me about how to get the covers off ... but I wonder if anyone tested these themselves. I know it can't be just me. These seal so well that trying to get the covers off is a power struggle and more times than not, I end up with soup everywhere. I'm keeping these containers because I love the style, weight, etc., but I'm hoping that the company comes out with some neat "tool" that helps to open these covers up. I can tell you that there is no way an older person could grip these and pry the cover off. I have noticed that when the containers are empty and at room temp, I can get the covers off without a power struggle ... but coming straight out of the refrigerator with food inside, that's an entirely different situation and nearly impossible. Whether it's the temperature difference or the food inside I don't know. All I can tell you is "good luck"! I tried to upload a video but it was too large.
