Q: they have changed the fragrances on this, right? The old packaging and product wasn't as strong and nauseating.When did they do this changeover.

A: I bought this online and was highly disappointed as well. Unilever tells me the old bars were called White Peach & Silk Blossom and this new, horrible imposter is called White Peach & ORANGE Blossom.

The packaging in well presented, the pump is great for when bathing/showering as no slipping out of your hands, great value for money. The texture is superb and the scent is long lasting. My skin feels great after using, so would say worth a go and very effective!

I used this soap for decades and loved the scent, but they changed it to a one-note, sickeningly sweet synthetic perfume smell that reminds me of a dollar store candle. It is truly awful, and unless Caress pulls a Coca-Cola and releases "Caress Classic," I will never buy this again.

Overall Bad Experience: New 2025 Caress Daily Silk "White Peach & Orange Blossom" Formula Bar Soap now feels like it Coats, Smothers skin, leaves a Clammy, Tacky Residue, Clogs Pores, Reduces skin breathability. Previous Caress Daily Silk "Floral Oil Essence" bar soap formula Moisturized dry skin without negative effects. So very disappointed: Changes have created concern, a waste of brand trust, unused product, money, and time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love caress. They have the best smelling soaps and white peach and orange blossom is the best in the line! I personally feel it lasts long and has a nice floral smell. It ties well with any floral perfume you want to accent it with. The bars themselves last pretty long. Think I had used my for like a week or so. The bars themselves are pretty easy to use. Just pop open the box and rub the bar with some water and shower. It has a thick lather and great at washing off oils and dirt without stripping the skin and making it dry.

I’ve been buying this soap for decades. The formula has changed. It doesn’t smell the same. Suddenly, my soap smells bad to me. I just bought 2 dozen bars of soap that I no longer enjoy. It seems like many long running products are changing their formulas and it seems like it is to save their corporation money, not in the name of improving their product and customer satisfaction. If you are going to change the scent, why don’t you just add to the product line instead of changing a flagship product formulation?

This soap leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized instead of dry and stripped. I purchase this brand pretty regularly so I’ll definitely be purchasing in the future. This product is also budget friendly. I also really like this soap in the bar form as it goes a long way as there is not accidental spillage or waste. The packaging has an adorable design but is standard as far as material. The product has a good lather doesn’t take much to get the suds flowing.
