To get any scent off of your dishes, we recommend you soak the dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added to it (or) run them through the dishwasher (assuming the dishes are dishwasher safe). If you choose to wash the dishes in the dishwasher, pour some vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher along with some vinegar directly into the dispenser. You can also put a cup of vinegar upright on the top rack of the dishwasher so that it gets knocked over and distributed during the wash. It may take a couple of cycles, but the smell will come out. An excellent value and the scent doesn’t linger on the dishes. We received a smaller pack in a resealable bag, but prefer the larger packs in plastic tubs to make it easier to keep water out. Highly recommend.

My dishes always come out clean, and the dishwasher has a nice scent after running. It doesn't get any more convenient than placing a pod in the dishwasher and pressing the start button! So easy to use and can be purchased at most stores.

The pods also dissolved completely when used and no residue was left on the dishes or in the dishwasher. The scent was just okay. I didn’t find it overpowering or anything. The package is nice and can be resealed to hold the other pods when not in use. I feel they are a very good product.

I've had it since the late 2000s. I normally have to lightly wash and rinse everything before running the dishwasher. This time, in order to put these pods to the test, I just scraped off the food, loaded them up, and started the washer just like the package said to do. I was absolutely blown away buy the results. These pods absolutely ate through all the dirt and grime on my dishes. I was sceptical, but the results made me feel like I had one of those fancy new dishwashers. I would highly recommend these Cascade Platinum Plus Dishwasher Pods to anyone who wants to cut down on the time it takes to do dishes and to help save some water. The price is absolutely worth the time and effort saved.
