Awful aftertaste
When I say, “awful aftertaste“ the after is a little bit generous. The bad taste begins creeping in halfway through chewing up your first bite. While the initial mouth taste does remind you of your favorite, cinnamon, toast, cereal from growing up, it is overtaken and ruined by the lingering flavor of… sweet Chickpeas? Bitter soap? It is difficult to categorize, but it is singularly unpleasant. Will not be buying again, and I probably will not even finish the bag. Or the first bowl.

Okay but needs some refinement
I love the fact that it tastes similar to my favorite childhood fruity flavored cereals. I forget if this new formula tastes different than the last. I don't like the fact it has seed oils and yeast. I think it causes gut issues for me. Probably not the fiber because I usually eat lots of fiber. Not sure it's good enough to eat alone plus too expensive so I use it as a topper. This is my favorite flavor so far.

Fruity Flavor
I have fallen in love with the Fruity cereal flavor and especially love the new reformulation of flavor profile and the new "eye appeal" packaging. A win-win. I did also try on my last order try the limited edition Pumpkin Spice flavor. I honestly was most disappointed. There was absolutely no Pumpkin flavor much less cinnamon. Not even a hint. My mouthvwas watering when I saw the piece of Pumpkin pie on the bag. Again I did not taste any Pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon. They need to step it up on the flavor. The Fruity flavor dies remind me of Fruit Loops. Maybe next the can try to imitate Apple Jack's. Not the Apple cider donut cause it too, lacked flavor. My all time "1" flavor is the Cinnamon toast. Please keep up the good work and keep striving so that Catalina Crunch can be the top cereal over Magic Spoon, Toast, Three Wishes. They all are on the bandwagon but Catalina Crunch still remains #1. Thank you for making cereals all of us Diabetics can enjoy!!

Old flavor was so much better
I love this brand and I love this cereal but I tried the new formula and it tastes so bad that I couldn’t finish the bowl. It tastes like chemicals with a very gritty texture. I’m not sure why it changed but it’s noticeable for the worse and I don’t think I’ll be purchasing unless it improves.
