I’ve used both this Gentle Skin Cleanser and the regular Cetaphil cleanser, and I definitely prefer the regular version. This one feels more like a watery lotion in texture, and while it does clean without irritation, it doesn’t leave me feeling as refreshed or thoroughly cleansed as the original. It’s very mild and great for sensitive skin, but I don’t love the consistency. I think it’s better for someone who wants an ultra-gentle option or has really dry skin, but personally, I’ll stick to the regular Cetaphil.

I honestly don’t know why people rave about this so much because to me it’s not that good. It definitely does the job but it’s just a plain old, gentle cleanser. It really kind of leaves my skin feeling dry and tight. I’m assuming it’s good for sensitive skin and that’s why people like it so much but I have dry/normal skin and I don’t feel like it’s that good

It’s a good cleanser but that’s all I can say. After makeup remover, it doesn’t do much to help get any residue or dirt. I usually have to go back with something stronger. Not sure that this does anything for my skin other than add glycerin.

Honestly the best face wash I've used, works really well for my dry skin. My skin felt so clean and so soft after the first use so I can't wait to see the results after using it for a month or so. Definitely worth buying, it foams up really nicely too so you don't need to use alot each time. Love it

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is a great value for the quality of product. Helps with my sensitive skin when having eczema but I really noticed the overall effectiveness when my older mother in law started using for dry itchy skin. Really helped relieve her skin issues. My only complaint, is that the formula is so lightweight I feel like I have to use more than maybe necessary but really a little goes a long way.
