Q: stupid question I know but which side faces up?.I imagine it is the side with all the projections on it. Am I right?

A: No, the flat side faces up. The projections allow the mat to sit slightly elevated off the bottom of the sink so the water can flow to the drain underneath the mat
s#@!. the pictures misled me without verifying product description. Picture misleads thinking it would be sold in a pair for the square mat. It's sold as each a qty of 1..the mat look fantastic though. I give 3 starts for the pictures.

Unable to cut to fit.
What I like is the protection it provides from scratching the sink. What I dislike is I ca not cut to fit my sink. It's cool though. It does what it's suppose to do.
