So glad to have found this as I rely heavily on the few dye free options available. The taste is actually better than many other cherry flavored medications also so that’s another plus.

This is all you can ask for I have a SEVERE food allergy; if I have even a hint of cross-contamination, I’ll go into full anaphylaxis and anaphylactic shock This stuff I always keep in a handy place because the minute I come into contact with my food allergen , I immediately drink this . Since it is liquid , it is absorbed into the blood faster than the pills or capsule versions , & believe me, I’ve had anaphylaxis MANY times in my life, the childrens version works bette Than the adult As far as the flavor: I’ll be honest , I hate all liquid medications , doesn’t matter what flavor or water it is , I gag getting the stuff down (now that’s just me , personally) I haven’t had issues with this one, I plug my nose and down it like a shot Also, I mean….anaphylaxis you don’t really care about the flavor lol I like it because it helps to delay my anaphylaxis reaction, of course it only buys me a little time, not hours , but i drink it and it allows me to get myself epinephrine and to the ER without my symptoms exacerbating to near-death before I’ve even gotten in the car to go to the ER food allergies are serious ; for anyone who shares something like me I would recommend this I found out about this for my allergy in the ER via a doctor who treated me for anaphylaxis , he mentioned the childrens allergy liquid in order to help try to delay some of the bad symptoms (like throat closing)
Great product!

Awful Tasting: Not Children "Friendly"

Troublesniffer - 3 years ago, Verified purchaser
Although this liquid allergy relief for children contains no sugar or "coloring" agents or artificial flavoring, its taste is truly awful. I cannot believe that children would find this acceptable.. I tried it and found it to be totally unacceptable. Sorry- because I was very pleased that it didn't contain sugar.

This has arrived dye-free every time for months now. The negative reviews regarding this seem quite dated. This works as well as the name brand, which is *not* dye-free in the 8oz. cherry flavor.
