A: Clabber Girl Baking Powder contains the leavening ingredient SAS- Sodium Aluminum Sulfate which is a naturally occurring mineral. For a baking powder without the leavening ingredient SAS please use our Rumford brand.

Remove the aluminum!!
I went ahead and got this and tried it. This was my first baking powder. Then I switch to good and gather found out that that had aluminum only to go search for the brand of baking powder to discover more aluminum great! Sprouts has baking powder at $2.99 aluminum free Make extra drive or order online and take care of your family!

Clabbergirl has both GMO & Aluminum
While some of Clabbergirl's products- such as Rumford baking powder-are non-GMO, this Clabbergirl baking powder contains both GMO corn and aluminum. At the time of this review, Target lists it as non-GMO certified and that isn't correct.
