The first two digits represent the year, while the last three represent the day of the year. This five-digit code is placed on each unit during the packaging process. Ugh — 4 months ago
This would probably be fine for baked items that don’t require much baking powder. However, for anything over 3 tsp like waffles or biscuits, it gives off a terrible metal flavor. I’ve found Argo brand baking powder to be the best for those foods.
