Been used almost entirely on highways in Southern California and I have yet to see this device fail to deliver an early notification of a police radar setup, static radar devices, or other such speed devices. It took a few tires to figure out what radar bands were tripping on other vehicle’s side and rear radars but now I’ve pretty much got them eliminated. I’m a happy customer.

Does not connect to phone, got a replacement, does the same. Tried another phone, doesn’t work either. It turns on, have no idea if it works. I replaced a 480 with the 700. The 480 didnt stop chirping every 5 seconds, but at least it worked.

The Cobra RAD 700i really works very well. We took a 900 mile trip through multiple states. There was k, ka, laser, and photo sign notifications. The radar detector was giving notifications on curves and long distances, before Google maps notifications. We were impressed.

This radar detector is amazing. The performance had been excellent. Right on the money detecting the signals that I need to be detected and filtering the rest. I’m in control of the device programming. I enabled all signals with the highest sensitivity and it is performing great. I have an Escort custom installed detector in my other cars and the Cobra RAD 700i performa significantly better. Planing to replace the Escorts with this one.

The BEST radar detector EVER! It literally catches EVERY police car with a powered on radar or laser or anything. OMG I didn't know a radar detector could be so accurate. And combined with the app it's so much more descriptive. A few issues with the app but not bad. Definitely 5 stars. I would love give some active feedback from my side if y'all can contact me on my email or anything.

I love it as it is updated sensitive and free of 95% of false alarm and real time alert notifications. Price is good comparing to competitors. Only issue is update site online has issues on Mac and unavailable but they are working to fix it sooner than later. Customer service is excellent and easy to get in touch and helpful. Congratulations to Cobra and Cedar!!!
