I will never stop singing Cocokind’s praises!!! I started following this company on Instagram during COVID when Insta was highlighting Asian owned companies. Let me tell you. Not only are they a minority woman owned company. But they are honest and straight forward. I have learned so much just by following their page. The real kicker? THEIR PRODUCTS ARE PHENOMENAL!!! I have yet to try something and not see the results they promise. This Oil to Milk cleaner? Made me ditch my $47 high end cleanser without ever looking back! I strongly recommend everyone checks them out!!!

Love this cleanser! I rub it on my fingers and get it wet (milky) before applying to my face and it removes makeup and sunscreen well after doing that. Been using it for a couple years now.

Doesn't emulsify or wash off entirely

It doesn’t irritate my sensitive, acne prone skin. However, it does not emulsify, or wash off entirely without following up with another cleanser. Takes makeup off okay. I prefer my oil cleanser over this for removing makeup/SPF though. Personally, I won’t be buying this again but am open to trying other products from this company!

I have sensitive dry skin, and this cleanser is possibly the most calming thing I’ve ever experienced. Its so calming at the end of the day when my skin is feeling dry. Sometimes it leaves a bit of a white cast. Probably not the best product for oily skin types. But for my skin type, I want to bathe in this stuff. I want to cover my whole body in it.

Not for me as an oily-combo skin person. I thought this would be a lighter cleanser to use for summer, but nah. If you double cleanse, this won’t replace an oil cleanser because of how mild it is—I’ve tried other oils/balms that work better. This leaves a slippy and slightly oily residue that I think is because it doesn’t emulsify entirely. And the light scent is also a little unpleasant for me, though my sister is fine with it. Meh. I don’t think this does much unless you’re really sensitive then it may worth a try.

I have really oily sensitive skin, and this works so well. It's thick like vaseline but once you apply it to your damp skin it lathers into a gentle milky foam. leaves my skin feeling barely dry, so make sure to moisturize after.

i was a bit considerate buying a skin product almost $20, but it was definitely worth it! it’s super hydrating so it’s a great cleanser if you have dry skin. it also healed an pimple acne scar i had little overnight (photo below is me after a single use)! it also reduces redness on my skin, which i struggle with along with my acne. i’m definitely buying this again. IMPORTANT IF YOU’RE CONSIDERING: it’s very important to find skincare that meets your skin needs, so this product may not be for you. only but this product if you need something that helps your skin goals!

The consistency Is More Petroleum Then Oil. When I First Got It I Rub It Into My Face To Remove My Waterproof Sunscreen. It Left A Vaseline Flim, But I Realize Now I Was Using It The Wrong Way. It Suppose To Be Rub In On Face With Damp Hands. Either Way I Rather Hve DHC because I Can Rub It In On Dry Tace With Dry Hands. After Trying On Back Of Hands As Instructed, It Does Rinse Offf Well. So Depending On How You Like To Start Your Oil Cleanse Choose What Best. I Will Stick To DHC for Now.

Normally you would use the oil cleanser on dry skin, “rinse” with water, then follow up with a regular foaming face cleanser to double cleanse. This cocokind oat to milk cleanser does best for me in the shower when I initially rinse/get my face wet, dry my hands with a nearby towel, and then apply the oil with dry hands onto my wet face. Sounds complicated but after trying other techniques, this ended up being the best for my face. I have oily/combo skin and doing it this way has shrank my pores due to how the cleanser does not strip the natural oils off my face yet at the same time cleanses effectively.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cleanser. I use the makeup eraser to get most of my makeup off and then follow with this at night. And I use it on its own to wash my face in the morning. It is so soft and easy to convert into a milky consistency. It has been so gentle on my sensitive skin, even around my eyes, which has been a problem area for me. Would definitely recommend this for dryer or more sensitive skin types.

A lot of the bad reviews here are from people who don’t know how to use this product. Since it’s an oil based cleanser it’s supposed to be a part of a two step cleansing routine. You first go in with this oil based cleanser as the instructions state, then follow up with a standard face cleanser and the rest of your routine. If you don’t then you’ll feel the residue left over. I immediately noticed a difference in my face when I incorporated it to my routine because I was simply using a standard cleanser. After using this first then washing again I noticed my face feel softer and cleaner and my blemishes are fading away.
