A: Yes, the Commercial Chef BC-2809 Programmable Coffee Maker does feature an auto shut-off function. After completing the brewing cycle, the coffee maker will automatically switch to a warming mode that keeps your coffee warm for up to two hours. Once this two-hour period ends, the coffee maker will automatically shut itself off, ensuring energy efficiency and safety.

A: I am returning this coffee maker because the clear cup that holds the filter and coffee is cloudy. A sign, to me, that it is cheap plastic. I'm not taking chances that it is toxic. Cheap materials.
