A: Thank you for your interest in Cora and all that we're doing to improve women's health globally. Currently, our applicators are made of a bioplastic material. We're working on introducing a more biodegradable option this year. We also have applicator free options available :)

A: Yes they are in a normal plastic applicator.
submitted byChan - 8 years ago
A: This is a shame (and a sham) that this brand is trying to advertise that they are a healthier alternative- but they are still using PLASTIC! Plastic will take centuries to biodegrade- use cardboard!

A: STOP BEING ABLIST IN YOUR ANSWERS! Cora tampons are one of the ONLY disability friendly tampons on the market, and it is BECAUSE of their applicator style. We NEED that defined ridge at the end of the applicator to be able to grip it to insert/remove the applicator. Your eco-screaming is making disabled people's lives so unnecessarily hard. We have periods too.

Q: Are these manufactured in Israel?
submitted by Lija - 4 months ago
A: Hi Lija, our tampon manufacturing has moved to China, though some older product from a previous supplier may still be in circulation at retail locations. The country of origin is printed on every box. Hope this helps!

Q: Do you use wax or paraffin in your tampons?
submitted by S Han - 1 year ago
A: Yes, we use a paraffin wax on our tampon string to make removal more comfortable. Hope this helps!

Q: What do you recommend?
My local store only sells, by regular and light tampons or regular and super tampons.
My flow is only sometimes heavy, is a regular tampon from this brand enough for a heavy flow?
submitted by Megan - 2 years ago
A: We recommend starting with the Regular/Light pack and see if that suits your needs before trying the super tampon.

Q: I am on a search for a new tampon company. A popular brand advertises as 100% organic cotton however has been in quite a few lawsuits. Do you use titanium dioxide in your tampons despite labeling?
submitted by Cam - 2 years ago
A: Hi, thanks for the question! We do not use titanium dioxide in our tampons. Hope this helps!

Q: FALSE ADVERTISING. why does the product info here say 100% organic cotton but the box ingredients say it also inlcudes "polyethylene, polyester, fiber finish"???--i have photo of box ingredients

A: Hi there, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are in the process of updating the product details on the Target site. Please contact us if we can help you further: support@cora.life

Q: Is the cotton bleached?
submitted by hello - 7 years ago
A: Hello, great question. We use peroxide, not bleach, to clean the organic cotton in the tampons.

WORST APPLICATOR EVERRRRR!!
WORST APPLICATOR EVERRRR!! Breaks while inserting and then you try your best to maneuver it and then you just end up hurting yourself in the midst of it.. just horrible all together! If I could give these a ZERO star I would! Will not be purchasing again even with new improved applicators bc in all honesty, why would I pay to “try it out” again, I already gave them money to do so and they failed.

Never been so fast to write a negative review of something in my life. Half the box was unusable because the applicator broke while trying to insert. Whatever man designed these needs to be fired immediately

Will never buy again
Cora used to be my favorite tampons. Since the design change these are absolutely horrible. They like don’t absorb anything, I’m leaking and having to change tampons more than I ever have in my life. This is so disappointing. Especially given how expensive they are.

Don't let it fool you
I fell for the cute packaging. Terrible product - not absorbent, not leak-proof, not a good applicator.

Used to be the best and now they are the worst, avoid these at all costs!
These used to be my favorite tampons but they changed the applicator and it is literally the worst applicator I've ever used in my entire life. For some reason they changed the perfectly good design they had for one that has multiple pieces and never functions properly. You're supposed to pull it out and it clicks together but it either unclicks, falls out, comes completely out, doesn't push the tampon out and generally does not work, you end up having to manually insert the tampon every single time. You might as well just get ones that don't have an applicator at all. Actually any other tampons on the entire planet would be better than these. I'm so confused why they changed them and made them less functional and after many years of these being my go to tampons I won't be buying them again and I do not recommend them to anybody. They are literally the worst tampons ever. Which is very sad because they used to be the best.

These used to be awesome until they changed the applicator. The other reviews are not exaggerating they are pretty much useless now and I’ve had to throw away almost half my box because they straight up don’t work. I don’t know how something so terrible even made it onto the shelves honestly. They not only changed what was working fine but they made it fully not work at all. Don’t bother with these they’re not worth the money the effort or the frustration.

Great tampon horrible applicators!! Wasted half of the box and small plastic piece falls off, that’s if it doesn’t just fail before that happens. Changed the wrapper which is now awful as well. Will not buy again.

Convenient shell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used these tampons for several cycles now and I'm really happy with them. In terms of feel, they're super comfortable - barely noticeable throughout the day, and the applicator goes in smoothly with no discomfort. The packaging is compact and easy to toss in a bag, with each tampon individually wrapped, which keeps things hygienic. I experienced zero discomfort, even during long wear and an active day. Reliability was great too - no leaks at all, even on heavier days, and absorbency stayed consistent. As for value, the price feels very fair for the quality and quantity you get in the pack. I'll definitely be repurchasing.

Did not stay in place
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try the Cora 100% Organic Cotton Applicator Tampons because I have been using a larger brand for years and years and was excited to try something organic. I am glad that I had an opportunity try these first but unfortunately these were not a hit for me. I felt like the applicator was not long enough and I could not get the tampon to stay in place. These might be better for someone who hasn't given birth to babies. I don't know that I was the target audience for this product.

Amazing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yesss girl!! If you use tampons I highly recommend this brand. No issues while I was using them. Application was easy, the tampon is comfortable, not to big or too small, and as you can see they are organic 🫶🏼

Hard no
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really sad I didn’t like these because I love that they’re organic and pure cotton, but these are a hard NO for me. First— the packaging. The wrappers have a tear mark, but they never actually tear fully there. It’s really annoying and I had to keep mangling the packaging to get the tampon out, which made it impossible to use the sleeve to dispose of the applicator after. Functionality— this is really where they’re awful. The tampons never expand. I tried quite a few, and each time, I could see where the tampon is meant to open up for absorption, but it failed to do so. Because of this, I experienced leaking with these tampons. I would not use them again, and I would not recommend.

works as expected
i’m guessing all the reviews about the applicator, the person isn’t reading the instructions. you pull the stick until it clicks, then push in the tampon. very easy. these tampons work as expected.

Love these!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always skeptical of “organic” feminine hygiene products because a lot lot of them still have chemicals in them that are very bad for you. I was really excited when I read the ingredients on these tampons! They work great, and it’s nice to have an organic option that also comes with an applicator. They’re super easy to use and effective for the appropriate state of flow. I will be trying this again for sure!

The applicator is designed for failure
I don’t know why the applicator changed but its epic fail. I throw away half the box cause I can’t get them in. And today the plastic piece fell off and fell right into the toilet. I had to fish it out! So gross!!
